Use the Pointy End!

(Hopefully) Fixed Bayonet Issues
Looks like I forgot to put the bayonet under the main weapon in the hierarchy, making it inaccessible to the AI. Hopefully this is fixed now and you can all start getting stabbed to death!

Set the new "Halt Strategy" parameter to "Always".
SteelRaven strikes again! Definitely makes all musket battles play out in a much more interesting way, rather than a bunch of bots walking past each other as they fire.

A Couple Audio Fixes
  • Resynced Reload Audio
  • Fixed Firing Audio being set to 2D instead of 3D.

The RE-volution Update

Audio-Visual Changes
  • Remastered Model.
    Twice the detail, 1.15 the Polygons
  • Entirely Redone Animations.
  • Better Muzzle Particles.
  • Replaced Bayonet Gear with a Bayonet Sub-weapon.
  • New Firing Audio and Redone Reload Sounds
  • Fixed a 1° downwards rotation in the idle animation
    Which I'm pretty sure was responsible for 99% of all complaints about accuracy.

Stat Changes
  • Increased AI Effective Range
    50 -> 75
  • Decreased Projectile Speed
    200 -> 152.4
  • Decreased Gravity Multiplier
    1.25 -> 0.5

Oops! All One Frame! Not Again!

The Smallest Animation Fix Ever. A Lesson Learned.
Removed one frame from the Draw Animation. Fixing in an attempt to fix the Musket appearing for that one frame when drawing.

Looks like it didn't fix it as much as the ToolsPack showed me it did. And that's why we test things before we push updates!

On a different note; the Musket being featured on "Featured Mods" page on the website, and now in-game, is both insanity and an honor.

Housekeeping Part 4: Birthday Cleanup

More Model Tweaks
Mostly Flintlock changes, and I lowered the poly-count of the flint in the process! That only took... a year.

Some Material Changes
Made the paper more 'papery' and the flint more 'flinty'.

Fixed Musket Command and Kick animations resetting the Flintlock and Frissen positions
It's what it says on the tin, innit?

Probably something I forgot

The Anniversary Update

Huh. So it's been a year since I uploaded this to the workshop, that's crazy to think about.
About 55,000 more of you used it than I thought would, and every one of you has my thanks!
Anyway, on with the patchnotes!

Animation Changes
Redid Kick Animation and added proper Command Animations to Musket
Bayonet Animations entirely redone Hopefully less awkward looking.

Model Tweaks
New Cartridge Model More "paper cartrige" and less "a white pill that guns need to make new bullets"
Smoothed Polygons Again

Added "Betsy Ross" Reload Variant
