Update: 18 Jan, 2018 @ 1:30pm

A small, but important update.

I seem to finally created Indoctrination events for all new ethics. Now you can indoctrinate primitives with the ethics I add. Check and tell me if it works properly or not.

Also, I added a new government: Jingoistic Regime, which is supposed to cover the idea of Ultranationalistic government, previously held by National-Socialism. Credits go to @Tiitinen for the idea.

A small update.

1. Military Budget policy was changed to become State Budget Focus, allowing you to balance your national budget between Military and Statecraft.

2. Some of you asked why I removed combat ship buffs from Supremacy traditions, so I changed Imperial Navy tradition to bring them back. That makes sense.

This update is pretty significant.

There were a couple of major reasons for it:

1. I didn't feel quite satisfied with the fact that my Traditions didn't not equally represent the ethics. While some ethics, like Militarist or Spiritualist, had 2 tradition trees each, the others, like Egalitarians, were not represented at all.

2. I wanted to make things a bit less complex, because I realized that a lot of restrictions could be too overwhelming and not really necessary.

In general, I fairly believe that after this update the mod will be easier, ligther and probably a bit more attractive to those, who resented my approach to Traditions for being too complex.

I'm also happy to announce that soon I'll update the version without Traditions as well.

This update mostly addresses Traditions, and a bit of Civics too.

I. TRADITIONS

Now each Tradition tree is based on 1 ethos, not 2. not 3, just ONE.
For each ethos there is only ONE according Tradition tree. Here they are:

Supremacy - militarist
Prosperity - pacifist
Harmony - ecologist - I merged Harmony with Environmentalism
Development - I merged Dvelopment with Progress
Faith - spiritualist
Discovery - materialist
Purity - xenophobe
Unity - xenophile - basically it's former Diplomacy, but with a slight rebuild
Commerce - individualist
Commonwealth - collectivist
Liberty - libertarian
Authority - authoritarian
Aristocracy - elitist - new Tradition tree
Merictocracy - egalitarian - new Tradition tree

Adopting traditions will be significantly increasing an attraction of an according ethos - 10% each tradition + 10% for adoption.

I do NOT touch Domination and Expansion traditions anymore, these trees have been re-instated in their vanilla form. I only changed 1 tradition in Domination tree (had to balance it with Aristocracy).

There are almost NO restrictions on adoption of Traditions anymore, neither mutual, not civic-related.
There is only 1 pair of Traditions which is mutually exclusive: Authority and Liberty (which makes sort of sense).
Civics are NOT related to traditions anymore.

Number of traditions in each tree has been reduced from 6 to 5. So, bit less of traditions in general, but a bit more coherent set of them.

II. CIVICS

I shaked Civics a bit, nothing too serious, a couple of civics have been removed, a couple of new added. There are 2 important points to mention here:

1. There are 2 new civics: Federalist and Imperialist. These civics are suppose to reflect different styles of managing your Subjects:

Federalist - more peaceful and libertarian
Imperialist - more agressive and authoritarian

2. Now set of civics is specifically build in a way, that for each ethos there is at least 1 available Civic. There was an issue before, when some ethos combinations didn't have enough Civics to chose from. Now it's been fixed.

III. OTHER STUFF

- Max number of Ascension Perks have been increased to 16. I do not touch vanilla Ascension Perks anymore, thus, there are no relations between them and traditions now

- Max leader level is increased to 20 (though it's still not visible upon 10)
