@The Jiggly Walrus: As I see it, the reduction of stats that potentiate magic is a way to balance it. If this mod were about raising mage related stats and at the same time giving bonuses to mana gain and regeneration through booze, it will be overpowered.
If you want to pick this skill tree, you need to consider that your magic would be a little weaker but it will let you shoot more spells.
Still, if you do not like the reduction, you can use this skill tree with a Warrior/Mage hybrid to increase the number of times you can cast a spell, since hybrids tend to have less MP.

Whats the point of subtracting mage stats but adding strength when the skills are all about booze and only mages really need that. This is kinda redundant if you ask me.

It seemed a bit too much compared to other spells that are more devastating with a single hit, these "curses" are mean to be used on singled enemies (probably bosses and mini bosses) so, it was pointless to limits their use in that way.

Thanks for the feedback, I tested the mod but I never got enough time to test them intensively.

I reduced the MP required for the active spells :)

The MP cost is high but the spells are spamables, if you have enough MP you can bear curse as many times as you want, and the damage is stackable.

Anyway, I am going to test it a little more... maybe I can reduce the MP cost but add a cooldown.

Seems like a nice skill, but MP costs for the active spells are too high... :/

I wouldn't know where to start coding. I may just have to team up with someone who is willing to take my ideas and such and make them real.

The gambler: Useful and dangerous. Sounds like a nice concept. If you have any problem with the coding, do not hesitate to ask me or in the Gaslamp Forums :) I learned a lot from them.
