Empire - TTS Prototype

Description
You are the benevolent (or is it malevolent) ruler of a small empire, and you think it's time for some change. Other empires will of course resist, but you know how to convince, scheme, and buy your way into the greatest empire the world has ever seen.

===

In this deckbuilder, expect the decks to rapidly change as you collect resources, raise armies, and lure loyal subjects to your realm. The order you choose to build various buildings will also alter your strategies.

There are two ways to win: successfully attack your opponents a bunch of times, or show off your luxuries.

You have to discard your hand at the end of your turn. Cards stored in building remain.

Why wouldn't you just store them in your hand?
The Silver  [author] 18 Jul, 2021 @ 2:51pm
@tinnesaile
There is not. Storage are used to help you draw cards whenever you need a particular card. For example, if you are trying to build a particular building, you can store the materials needed in the Warehouse until you manage to get all cards needed.
The danger is that since those cards count as being in your hand still, an attacker can steal them.

Is there a handsize limit and if not what are the storage cards for?

Doctorbowling, if you liked risk check conquest of the empire out. It's incredible and I'd be happy to have a game with you.

The silver, thanks for an intriguing and different game!

Alright thanks! I wanted to say I love this game. I liked RISK, but that was a bit too luck based for me, so this game is the perfect mix!

I word great sometimes, I swear. It's supposed to mean that if, say, there are no more Soldiers in the center, you don't need to return Subjects in the Military Camp, since you can't get any Soldiers from it.

Thanks dude! One more thing, in the FAQ it says if you run out of a resourse, you can't get it back but don't have to spend it?

Oops, I thought I had updated the action card. In this case, the rulebook has the correct actions.

For final scoring, you count the total unhappiness in your hand, deck, discard, and Dungeon. The Dungeon basically lets you move Unhappiness out of the deck.

"When done" refers to when Subjects are rotated right-side-up.

I'll get stuff updated hopefully within the week. Keep the feedback flowing, and thanks for playing the game =)

More specificlally, the rules on the "summary" cards that each player has.
