Unknown: Cooperative Post-Apocalyptic Survival (1-6 players)

Description
NEW: Scripting has been added! Shout outs to Rob and Dave for setting it up. Use the new buttons to prepare the game. Choose an objective from the list, a difficulty level, and then a number of survivors in the game. There's also a beautiful new custom table, with an extended play space. The scripts are being constantly updated, so be sure to check back once in a while for new features.

~~~
Unknown is fully cooperative with no traitor or points to muddy the goals. Everyone wins or loses together. It may be played solo, or with up to 6 players and because it is cooperative if a player needs to leave early or join late that can be easily accommodated.
It is a tile base exploration and resource management game set in a post-apocalyptic world. The players explore, gather resources, battle living and environmental hazards, and attempt to complete the mission’s objectives while keeping their base supplied with food.
The basic concepts and actions are easy to learn, and teaching a new player enough to join the game can be done in under five minutes. In most cases all of the information you need about a tile is right on it and if it’s not there it is on the player mats. All of the tiles are also color coded to make setup and break down quick and easy.
Contents of this game include:
16 Playable Survivors
16 Main Missions to complete
5 Minor Tasks
51 Starting Tiles
21 Hazard Tiles
24 Objective Tiles
100 Cubes, Discs, and Tokens
12 Enemy Tokens
16 Enemy Tiles
This Tabletop Simulator adaptation was created with the cooperation of the talented creators of this game, Rob and Dave Games. Please check out their work! Unknown is absolutely my favorite board game, and being able to create this with their help was a great experience. (For the record, I am not officially affiliated with them! They only provided the assets for this project.)
Please check out their website and consider purchasing a physical copy of the game. It's even more fun in real life, and I'd love it if you supported them. http://robanddavegames.com/
Be sure to keep an eye out for Unknown being demoed at conventions near you, like MAGFest and AwesomeCon! Follow their Facebook for updates at https://www.facebook.com/robanddavegames/
The beautiful artwork in this game was created by Boya Sun. http://www.boyasun.com
A rulebook can be found linked on their website, or accessed directly from here http://robanddavegamescom.fatcow.com/uploads/3/4/7/1/34716360/unknown-instructions.pdf
There's a great tutorial video in the gallery up above, or you can find it here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmGO7-3bBdg
If you have any questions or feedback (positive or negative), please post them in the comments below. I'd love to help out, and improve the adaptation where possible.
Enjoy!
The manual is not on the website anymore. I was able to get it in the games file section @ BGG.
I figured out the scripting issue: right click the white rectangle (it's actually an upside down domino token), under 'toggles', uncheck the part the says Hide Face Down. The scripting menu should appear right where the domino is.
I think the scripting is still broken. Don't see a menu
Is the scripting supposed to work in the current TTS? I just see a small white brick with a button, but no menus. I'm guessing that the menu is there but it's just invisible or something.
For anyone scrolling through, I'd like to point out that we now have scripting for setup! It should be way easier to get a game up and running quickly.
Cool thanks for adding this. I love seeing TTS being used for promo-ing indie games and prototypes/testing.
I had a feeling that was the way to play it, thank you very much, just wanted to be sure before I jumped in and realized I was playing it all wrong.
This version supports any number of players! Check out the rulebook I linked. There should be enough explanation for setup. The way I normally play with 1 player is by taking control of two or more different survivors. Then, during setup, just treat the game as if playing with that number of normal players, and build the deck as the rule book explains. Let me know if you have any more questions.
In the title it says 1-6 players...is there a solo version of this available and if so how would I go about playing it that way? That way I could try it first for myself, just to see what it's like. It looks like a lot of fun, and I hope to try it with friends!
