Bug Spawn Improvement

Description
When a planet is generated in vanilla Starbound, the engine selects a single bug from the planet's biome, and that bug becomes the only bug capable of spawning on that planet; if you want to find any of the other bugs from that biome, you have to hunt down new planets and hope the engine rolls in your favor.

This mod changes that by forcing all bugs applicable to a particular biome to spawn on all valid planets. This means that all forest biome bugs will spawn on a single forest planet, all midnight bugs on a single midnight planet, and so on. This does not change spawn rate - spawns in general will still be relatively uncommon - it only changes spawn diversity.

As with most mods that alter spawns, planets that have already been visited will be unaffected - you will either need to start exploring unexplored planets or clear out planet files from your /universe folder for this to take effect on previously explored planets. If you wish to reset previously visited planets to take advantage of this mod, please read this thread.

This mod only deals with vanilla assets. This means it can be safely uninstalled at any time with no threat of damage to planets or saves - the spawns will remain in effect on planets explored while this mod was installed even after it has been removed.

Does this mod work for bugs that depend on the time of day on the planet (day/night)? Or is it worth looking for these beetles also only during their spawn time?

Nevermind... I just read Soüp's comment and Azure Fang's answer below. On this particular Tundra planet I have a Midnight biome and thats why the Xenofly spawns there.

This mod seems to spawn every bug on every planet, contrary to the description which states "... all bugs applicable to a particular biome to spawn on all valid planets." I now had Xenoflys spawn on a Tundra planet when the Xenofly should only spawn on Mutated and Midnight. That makes hunting particular bugs now even more difficult.

This work with FU's bugs?

My wording was poor - that's how it's supposed to function. The primary biome of a planet only determines its visual from space; the game will call any applicable spawn tables beyond that, so when a major biome is used as a sub-biome, it brings with it monster and bug spawn tables.

Weirdly, this mod seems to be causing bugs to spawn per biome, not per planet. So on a single savannah planet I was getting forest, savannah, and desert bugs depending on where I was on the surface.

Making good progress on the achievement though, thanks!

Is this mod a better version of Bug RNG Removal? I need one that works

Yeah but it starts being a worry when spend half an hour in volcanic and get 30+ bugs but not a single phoenix fly, the chances are super low of that happening, so I'm either extremely unlucky and the RNGods despise my soul, or there a problem
