Description
You awaken in a cold place with no memory and only an elderly doctor to help you. Tragedy is upon you and time is short. Soon you and your friends are dodging an old enemy that refuses to stay down.
Can you survive in the most hazardous environments and make it home alive? [Not your typical shadowrun. Expect 3+ hours of gameplay to complete. Special thanks to Geeked props. I have used a few of your items.]

(Known issue: When obtaining new armor take it instead of managing it. I have a stash in most scenes that you can use. Managing it causes your characters to appear naked.)

Update 9-28-24: Apologies for the story being left at a cliffhanger. My health has taken a huge turn for the worst shortly after releasing this module. It was supposed to be the first chapter of a much longer campaign that would tie into my other campaigns as well. Unfortunately, I simply don't have it in me to work on these anymore. Hoping that will eventually change and I can get back to this.

For those that have enjoyed it, thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you like my stories. I know they aren't perfect, but I'm not a programmer and I don't have other people testing it before I release it. Things got corrected or added to as input was received. Hopefully I will eventually be able to return to finish all of this.

spoiler: The end was confusing, I know this. The protagonist was literally vaporized and rebuilt by the magic relic. I had intended on continuing the story with him as an immortal passing through the millennia until he caught back up. I was also going to tie into bug city, but I just haven't had the wherewith-all to do these things.

Thank you for your time

Update 10-11-24: I am shifting to Nexusmods for the time being. I am no longer able to get the games to publish to steam. When the next chapter is released I'll post it's title here for those that wish to go play it.

I enjoy this story. The begining with the rat ghost was difficult to understand but after that it all good.

Well done dev its a good story, little sad but a good story.

Nice to notice there are some creators who have created these in all three shadowrun games :O

Kinda wonder if I should ever try to learn it myself and give it a try, but first I have to actually have time to play more mods

This was an interesting story. I enjoyed it, though it seemed a bit non-lore bound. That's ok. It was very rail-bound with very little exploration or anything, but given the type of story it was, that didn't bother me a great deal.

As for melee characters in endless wastelands with no cover, i used some throwing knives and had exactly zero issues.

The main issue I have is with the ending. It just made... no sense at all, and the epilogue was a bit "well... okay I guess." Other than that, it was a fun romp.

I can handle typos and poor storytelling, but when you give me a melee character and tell me to sprint through an endless wasteland of no cover against air elementals with AP damaging basic attacks more accurate than any sniper rifle, yes, I'm going to get upset. Forcing stunlock so a player can watch his character die for the fifth time in a row with no hope of things getting better is not a good way to get positive feedback.

Even if this story is closer to open-ended general-purpose sci-fi than HBS shadowrun spirit and this alternation of casual point & click and run for your life phases can be confusing in this genre, some comments are rather severe imho. I really enjoyed this campaign.

wow buncha hatefull entitled ass be happy people make mods for this game for free even they are not damn game developers they do as a hobby no need to be dick heads no need to review their mods like you would a AAA game.

This UGC really needs to slow down, the plot points are all stumbling over each other to get out the door and the story keeps introducing characters like you know who they are, except they are never explained who they were. it starts strong but quickly spirals into insanity, needed more time in development.

@MA1 Gemsback-Glad I read this and avoided another trainwreck created by Mole. I unfortunately I played through Molefixer's Darkness Falls series. Should have been titled "Derpish Fails" since that was abysmal...

Ugh. Typos. Spelling. Missing punctuation.
Looooong monologues. Story all over the place.
Huge areas with nothing of value.
And it all ends on a double cliffhanger with no explainations.

Geee...

Word of advice for the guy who played through the whole thing.
DON'T. SUBSCRIBE.

(P.S. Dear author. Yes, sorry, this is negative feedback, but it is what it is. :avapout:)
