The Community Patch - 1912

Description
The Community Patch is a collection of requests and fixes to the default game. This is for the 1912 scenario, "Diplomacy and Disaster" to be enhanced without losing historical accuracy. It will be a work in progress. Below is a list of all edits made to the game.
  • Historical navies for the time period, including almost all imaginable nations varying from edits to Sweden right down to Liberia or Venezuela.
  • Added over 270 new cities (Thanks to Карл Дёниц for the base of this. I tried contacting you, but to no avail. Thus I am crediting you here. If you wish for us to retract the added cities we will do so.)
  • Transports no longer have a combat value, making navies more valuable.
  • Gas Shells are now tradable.
  • Viewing the region points map is now more accurate. Before the red territories had 0 points even though the minimum points a territory can have is 3. This was fixed and red territories are those with 3 points.
  • Government support in a territory must be signifigantly lower to cause revolt risk to increase.
  • The price of steel and arms has been adjusted to make them more balanced. Steel price has been lowered and
  • Arms price increased so that they are cost effective to sell.
  • New units and buildings are added.
  • The background music from MHII was enabled for more music diversity without changing the theme of the music.
  • Factory Farms no longer have a reduced MPU bonus compared to Mechanized farms and are now higher.
  • Interferance in Sphere of Interest is now only half as important in international relations.
  • Added new level of diplomatic influence above Strong: Concordant, for those times when you have 100 influence and you still can't get port access.
  • The colonial Railways are completely overhauled representing both historic rails as well as representing navicable rivers routes.
  • There is now a direct connection between Danubia (northern Bulgaria) and Banat in souther Hungary to represent the ease of trade and tranport along the Danube river.
  • Marmara Sea is now considered a Canal controlled from Constantinople, no longer can the Royal navy or Russia just sail right through the Bosporus like they own the place, they must fight tooth and nail for control.
  • Suez Canal now grants port access to most sea going countries so they no longer need to sail around Africa in peace time.
  • Resource production especially in the colonies was expanded both to meet economic demand and increase the importance of the colonies. New coal metal and oil deposits are added to some parts of Africa, Europe, and Asia.
  • Farming upgrades added across many colonies. Hungary, Ukraine, and some river valleys saw similar upgrades do their nature as major world bread baskets historically.

And More, both included and to come...

Hi, any updates that don't make the mod crash at start? Really curious to try it out. Thanks

You're probably right. I do have a version that is slightly more modernized than this one. Works still as far as I know, but it was a ground up build made to replace this one. Unfortunately I never finished balancing it, so I don't know if it would be ready to upload.

@Bartley - maybe it would be ok to change the description of the mod and just write it's broken so that.. or better yet delete it? As it obviously makes a mess out of the game and it's really not usefull anymor. Must say though - it's been a great ride while it lasted, this was probably one of the best mods on workshop that I tried. So I'm sorry to see it go but let it die with some dignitiy :)

Make sure to delete save data.

I no longer have the mod files after computer change. It hasn't even been updated in 3 years.

I just tried to get this working for almost a week... But, it's totally corrupted my game and the steam version wont even launch after a full reinstall. This does some kind of MAJOR registry mess up somehow. Bartley, are you having issues with this mod? It's real broken
