Original Sin

Description
Original Sin, a Devil Room item that gradually blackens your soul. Soul Hearts will gradually turn Black!

When first picked up, Isaac gains a Soul Heart and a Black Heart, but this is only the beginning. Whenever Isaac clears a room while having at least half a Soul Heart, there's a chance (20% at base, 100% at 8+ Luck) that one of his Soul Hearts will become a Black Heart.

Available in the Boss, Devil, Curse, Demon Beggar, Greed Boss, and Greed Devil item pools.

UPDATES:
Original Sin now activates upon clearing rooms, as originally intended, instead of upon taking damage.

Original Sin now counts towards the Leviathan transformation! Thanks to DickyBoy and his Transformer item mod.

Three new collectible icons for Original Sin! To change icons, go into C:\Users\[Your Name]\Documents\My Games\Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ Mods\Original Sin\resources\gfx\items\collectibles and change the name of collectibles_mod_originalsin.png to something else, renaming your preferred icon to that.

@Evidius I sort of get where you're coming from, but since it's a chance effect, not guaranteed (unless you manage to get all the way to 8 luck), I think it's reasonably balanced as-is. With the current setup, if you pick up a Soul Heart when at your base 0 Luck (or lower), you have to clear (on average) 5 rooms before it turns black.

Might wanna make it every 2 or so rooms? It seems like it would be kinda overpowered if you where able to get easy soul hearts

Just realized that my method of determining when a room is cleared won't work right in Greed Mode. :/ Not sure what sort of tricks I'd have to pull to get THAT to behave the way I'd like. Should work as intended in the main game, though.

Hey, doesn't look like this is getting much attention, so I figured I would comment and say that this seems like a really great idea. The whole taking damage thing kinda limits the use of the items, and being a recolor of <3 doesn't really look great either. You likely already knew all of that though, so whatever
