Immortality Trait (No Negatives) (1.4.1)

Description
Alternative to my immortality trait, this one only giving the lifespan bonus.

Trait cost = 0

Effects:
+10,000 years to lifespan of leaders. Affects all leaders (ruler, scientists, admirals, etc)

To use, open up the console and type add_trait_species [species_id] trait_immortality. It might be necessary to save the game, and then reload the save to make sure that it updates properly. Easy way to check if it's working is to hover over a leaders age on the leader page and look at the percentage chance of death.

The species ID will usually be 0 if you are using this for your own species. (add_trait_species 0 trait_immortality)
If this doesn't work for you, check your species ID by entering debugtooltip into the console and then hovering over your species info.

My other (more balanced) immortality mod can be found here
Another alternative can be found here. Identical to the other linked version except you can add from new game menu as with other traits, but it may enable AI species to use it also.

- Works with the current game version (1.4.1)

@Von Yes, it's linked at the bottom of the description. Allows you to add trait from new game menu. Click here for mod

@others sorry for not updating - I don't really have any interest in modding things, these started as something I did for myself and just decided to share. I haven't played the game in quite a while. If anyone has any problems getting this to work on the current version let me know and i'll see what I can do

is there going to be one that works in MP so people could do a MP playthough without spending any points or such? since console can't be used there?

It seems not working on Adam (1.6.1).

Will you be updating for 1.5?

@AdmiralDonkey
Yeah. I did want to use it for multiplayer. I have no issues with an AI spawning with such traits. TBH I don't notice a difference. AI is stupid. Players are intelligent and devious. However, that being said, I already found a mod that adds a racial trait.

Is the reason you ask because you want to use it for multiplayer? I had a recent similar request on my other mod - if this is the reason I can add another which allows use via the new game creation, although doing this means there is a possibility the AI may spawn with it. There are other commands in the mod which attempt to minimise the risk of this happening, but it's difficult to know exactly how the commands work without thoroughly testing them which would would time quite some time.

That's really the main reason why I have this as console only, as it's the safest option for most players. Let me know if you'd rather I make a seperate one you can use.

This is a racial trait. I just disabled the ability to add it when creating a new game, so that the AI cannot spawn with it. That's why it's only useable via console.

It's quite alright, you're not wasting my time. It just sounded like you were suggesting that this was a cheat rather than a balanced addition (which is true) - but that's what my other mod attempts to do. This is just for those who'd rather use it without the negative aspects.
