Description
I know, I know. The resemblance to both Jar Jar Bings and The Sphinx is uncanny, but I can't stand either, so I ended up sticking with the working title: Prototype 8.

She has 4 rocket batteries containing 5 rockets each, 54 cannons and makes about 20 knots.
Fire rockets with (numpad) Ins, Del, Enter and +, in that order.
Turn left turret with 1 and 2, right turret with 4 and 5

Fun to do trick-shots with. Be sure to upload them on youtube and link the videos here if you make some good ones!

UPDATE: Increased rocket speed, and altered ship balance to make aiming with the new missiles easier.

Hopefully, I will find time and inspiration to improve seaworthiness in the future!

One of my older mechanical tryouts, actually. Was a bit surprised that it worked at all! And she's got an extendable tail! :D

A www. nice! Sometimes I think I just built her to see those walls crumbling down. It's just so satisfying. ;)

And yeah, totally agree on the motor blocks. The swaying makes it basically impossible to do anything but lay down covering fire.

Btw, speaking of frustrations... Wouldn't it be great if the rotating pieces were a bit more rigid? Right now I feel like turrets are really gimmicky, because they end up being so rickety they aren't really functional.

Shoot some pictures when you're not busy dodging strays! (though that shouldn't be a problem at 20kn)
