Ragnarok'44 Demo mission - 1st mission in the Ragnarok'44 Mission Series.

DESCRIPTION

A Rts (Real Time Strategy) Mission/Mode Rydygier and myself built back in 2013 for the
Iron Front in Arma2OA (IFA2) version now ported to Iron front in Arma3 IFA3!
Ragnarok'44 is RTS mission/mode based on Window Of Opportunity[www.armaholic.com] "The battle from above!" mission mode by Mondkalb, modified with his permission.
Command, Build, Recruit, Capture, Incarnate, Seize & Destroy your enemy!

FEATURES

  • Command with a camera as a general pointing and clicking what
    and where you want your forces to go and do.

  • Build buildings which will allow you to recruit various types
    of infantry, vehicles, tanks, and static weapons.

  • Establish a logistics to gain better\faster resources, upgrade the level
    and skill of infantry, vehicle, and tankers, as well as increase efficiency of fuel, and ammo usage by the AI.

  • Play as any of your forces in 1st/3rd person by incarnating into them,
    command a whole squad, be a lone soldier, play as a tanker, or just be a driver of a vehicle.

  • Capture strategic points on the battlefield which will earn you more
    resource points allowing you to build more forces and upgrade them.

  • Create your own Ragnarok'44 missions on the fly, and on any map!

  • Fight enemy AI Commander (Hetman A3 (Artificial Commander) that will
    seize strategic points, gather resources, build and deploy his own army, defend,
    and engage you with his forces.

REQUIREMENTS
  • IFA3 AIO
  • Ragnarok'44 mod (IFA3) v1.16 - (This is the base mod that all Ragnarok'44 missions require)

You'll need to edit the mission and add a couple of playable units for others to play but their can only be one commander, and its limited to German side.

Is co-op in? can I like host a server and have couple friends on to fight alongside the infantry?

Hey guys, wanted to let you know, there is currently no updates from Rydygier yet on updating the code, and base for this, however, after i finish my mod here for IFA3, i plan to build a new mission for this.

A PvP is not going to be realistic right now, Rydygier has no time still to work on the mission/mode, and he said he would need to change some code related to Hetman for it to work, then too he only knows how to code for SP not so much mp, and also said there is code for servers that must be implemented for the mision mode to work properly in an MP environment.
I have a version where you can play as the Soviets but the issue is the AI commander is still commanding, so it dont work, I'd rather wait til Rydygier has the time to fix, and update the few issues the mission/mode has first then go from there.
As for new missions I am hoping to have a new one release by frida, or sat maybe sooner, idk atm my time this week has been short no thanks to getting home late from work.

If someone wants a version I will look into how to make it, but theres no guarentees it will work, I'll need to ask Rydygier how to do it, and get back to you.

More missions coming, I'm trying to get 1-2 missions for Ragnarok a week, but to keep up to date on any new missions you can either view my "Gunter Severloh's Workshop" or view the official release thread for any new missions posted.
Lastly no news yet on updates/fixes to the code/scripts for Ragnarok overall, Rydygier who does all the coding and scripting for the mission/mode has not given me word yet on when he has time to work on it, so in the meantime I will be porting the remaining missions I have to IFA3, and building more missions for you guys.
If you guys have missions you have built and would like me to list them on the official release thread for Ragnarok and or even on the MR let me me know and I will add your files/links there, if you have any questions on building missions be sure to review this post with video tutorial on how to do it https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/196146-sp-ragnarok44/page-2#entry3109121
