No Weather Blockdamage

Description
No Weather Blockdamage does what it says: it prevents any kind of weather from destroying blocks. But beware: the effects can still kill you.
Weather types included
- Small meteors
- Large meteors
- Cinderstorms (aka Ember)

This covers only vanilla weather.

Yea, somewhat. Haven't done much on the planned update yet tbh but will deffo be this year. However it'll most likely be the last update I gonna do for anything starbound related in the near future.

Truth be told, it's basically how CF deals with the entire product and that there is absolutely nothing done with it anymore. Sure there is the community developed fork, on which I have an eye on but yea.
On top of that there is the entire Forum situation which is also ignored by the devs and they dont even respond to messages from their own moderators. :^)
This has basically killed my entire motivation for anything starbound related.

is there a FU version?

Small update, I picked up Starbound again (you can thank no man's sky and it's never fixed bugs for that) and am dabbling into FU rn, therefor I am also testing around with the weather effects and which projectiles I need to alter in order to not accidently break something else. When everything's working well I gonna release the FU compatibility probably as additional mod tho I'll take a look if I can put it into the main mod itself. No ETA tho cuz I am struggling with health. It's done when it's done plus I need to get back into the entire Starbound modding stuff, been a few years since I did anything with that.

you actually can do something about it: patch it yourself

kinda sucks because i built a bunker on a scorched world and it keeps getting destroyed by meteors and i cant do anything about it

Something that would still require time and effort to go through every assigned file and check for things in order to still keep the effect the way they're meant to be except avoiding the blocks breaking. It's not just "breakBlocks: nyuuuu", there is a bit more stuff involved. If effects are altered that are used by the weather then this would already need adjustments to keep things in order. It's still on my Todo list but there won't be an ETA anytime soon. Not to mention that I am not playing the game with FU either so it'd require me to go through all the necessary files. And that basically is time which I am not willing to invest in the near future due to other more important stuff that requires my attention and I am not forcing myself to something I don't want to do atm.

Don't get why you wouldn't add compatibility for Frackin' considering Starbound isn't a game without it. It's also not as daunting of a project as you think. There's a handful of applicable planets/biomes that would benefit from this that you'd only need to go through every 6 months, or year as their updates aren't frequently large enough to require you to "actively keep track..".
