Looking forward to v3.8! Take all the time you need and do what you gotta do. The updates are impressive and the content is interesting and fun. Thanks for the ETA as well.
Did I mention that the mod has over 40 custom food items now and there's so many that I have to make a spreadsheet to keep track of all their ingredients and effects? It's getting silly.
Development is going well and I can give a timeframe of "last 10 days of December" as the release time, to give myself + my idea guy enough time to get things done. :3 Hope you're all ready!
(Also, I recently pushed new stats for Inklings to the kind folks over at the Race Traits mod, so if you use that mod, keep an eye out for whenever it updates next!)
The Inkling Crafting Table crafts everything up to tier 3, for both weapons and clothes! (But you can also find these at anvils/etc.) Anything higher-tier can be found at the usual crafting stations.
This is because I didn't want to make everything available from the start, and it'd probably crowd the weapon tab a bit.
I'm glad you're excited though! I am too :)
Yes, this mod is compatible with FU and shouldn't present any conflicts with it. FU has some cool support for Inklings, like giving them better stats in warm climates and them being able to breathe underwater in clean water.
This mod has a lot of tiered armor, even with different sets of armor in the same tier, but not all of it is available from the start or immediately obvious.
Here's the progression for stuff you'll know from the start and won't need to unlock:
Aviator's set (t1) -> Iconic Squid's set (t2) -> Traditional set (t3) -> Agent's set (t4) (uses durasteel! you are here) -> Octoling Soldier's set (t5a) / Samurai's set (t5m) / Armored Agent's set (t5s) -> Elite Soldier's set (t6a) / Shogun's set (t6m) / War Hero's set (t6s)
Whoa "sit tightand the future will reveal itself"? Well now i'm definitely overhyping myself that a separate Octoling race is coming! Soon my Agent 8, you will explore the stars! Perhaps even with your bubbly girlfriend at your side...
