Due to life reasons, this mod is currently not being supported/updated!
Any issues found will likely not be fixed until I have the time to return to this mod!
This does not mean the mod will be left to die, just that I won't be supporting it for the forseeable future.
I'll do my best to get out one last update some time soon, just to fix any potential major issues I can find. But beyond that I will not be adding new features, or fixing small problems for now.

I will however, try to answer questions as I can!

This mod adds several survival friendly storage packs/bags/satchels to the game! These packs do not drop items when broken, however they cannot contain another satchel that already contains items (i.e. no infinite storage!).

Inspiration came from mod author v6 and his Improved Containers mod, specifically for the: items-not-dropping-from-chests-when-broken aspect (which is pretty important to this mod!).

This mod adds items and modify's the player.config file. This mod will not be compatable with any mod that overwrites the player.config file! Other than that, it should play nice with other mods!
Currently there is no supported cooperative compatability between this mod and V6's "Improved Containers" mod. They should work togeather, however the Improved Containers mod will not modify any Portable Storage items. As such, no Improved Container functionality will be available to the Portable Storage items.


There are currently 6 packs in the game, each pack requires rarer materials as the tier increases. The level of difficulty is still being tweaked! 1-4 are crafted at the wooden workbench, with 5, and 6 crafted at the industrial workbench:

1. The 4 slot simple bag.
   
2. The 9 slot basic leather satchel.
   
3. The 12 slot fancier silk satchel.
   
4. The 16 slot advanced dufflebag.
   
5. The 24 slot futuristic digitization satchel.
   
6. The 32 slots high tech dimensional satchel.

To access a bag, simply place it on the ground and interact with it as though you would interact with any other chest/container. When you're done, simply break it, pick it up, then all of the items will stay inside! Due to some issues however, food and fuel items can no longer be stored in bags. This is to prevent exploits!

You can also mouse over a sack within your inventory to see how many slots are being used, as well as how many total items are within. Useful if you're gathering lots of one type of stackable item.
