NecroDancer Staffs

Description
Did someone say staffs?

No?

I had a look at Jouste's concept artwork for this game, and I liked the idea of the NecroDancer wielding a staff in his concept version, which I guess was scrapped during development.

So I present to you, those staffs, now in the game! As a mod, but still.

[You can switch staffs by opening the mod folder and following the instructions inside.]

P.S You rock, Jouste! Great artwork!

I dunno, the way I see it he has done a spell for the lute to play itself, so he wouldn't need any hand in the end, heh.

It's rather simple.
Find the mods folder, and drag the sprite into the data>entities folder. Make a backup of the original sprite just in case, though.
Remember that validating your files will automatically replace these sprites with the original ones.

Is there a way i can make mods always run by default? It's just annoying that i can play only one at a time, but if that wasnt enough i should activate them every time i run the game.

Thank you! I like my sprites to resemble the original as much as possible, and people seem to like that. :csgoglobe:

And thanks! I try to make my mods blend in with the game, and I'm very happy with the results.

It's great work, really. An excellent addition of what could've been that melds quite well with the original assets. I feel the staves weren't included because... Well, you can't play a lute with one hand.
