Description
Original historical scenario for Age Of Empires 2 with original map for 8 players "free for all" and standard victory (no trigger, neutral diplomacy at the beginning but you can choose as host locked teams or not).

It begins with the complete end of Western Roman Empire (victory of the battle of Soissons (486) by Clovis I, king of the Franks against the king of the last Romans in France, Syagrius, gaining then Paris) in western Europe, with the barbarians total invasion and definitive settling (beginnings of west European medieval christian civilization, in other words just before the victory of Tolbiac against the Alamans and then the baptism of Clovis (in 496) the first king of France (united France doesn't exist yet and Attlila is dead in 453, the Hunic barbarian Empire being then teared apart different factions, his sons beaten by the german Gepids (former ally) at the battle of Nedao (454), most of the huns going back to the east, some eastern tribes related (like the Sarmatians, cavaliers) fraternizing with them)).

The plot here being not to follow history but see alternative possibilities in the game at this uncertain historical (and not well known) point.
In fact this scenario can depict all west European middle age, from the start, with the final settling of nomad tribes from the North-East, to the latest days, like hundred years war and the age of gunpowder and canons, crossing the centuries, and building towns and developing technologies from almost nothing to national wonders.

PLAYER 1 / BLUE: Frank; PLAYER 2 / PURPLE: Italian or Frank; PLAYER 3 / TEAL: Goths;
PLAYER 4 / GREY: Celts; PLAYER 5 / YELLOW: Teutons; PLAYER 6 / RED: Britons; PLAYER 7 / ORANGE: Vikings; PLAYER 8 / GREEN: Huns or Mongols or Magyars.

STARTING SITUATION: (all players start with 1 town center, 1 scout cavalry and 0 ressource because of nomadism but every player begin with a little barbarian army and a very different geographical situation)

PLAYER 1 / BLUE (center of the map, TC (Town Center) on the "Ile de la cité" ("City Island"), Paris, France):
"Paris" (civ=Franks):
4 villagers, 6 throwing axemen, 6 sheeps

PLAYER 2 / PURPLE (south, TC on Dijon, Burgundy, France):
"Burgundians" (Italians or Franks):
4 villagers, 4 skirmishers, 4 archers, 1 house, 4 sheeps

PLAYER 3 / TEAL (south-west, TC on Toulouse, Languedoc, France):
"Visigoths" (Goths):
4 villagers, 6 huskarls, no sheep

PLAYER 4/GREY (west, TC on Rennes, Brittany, France):
"Bretons" (Celts):
4 villagers, 6 woad raiders, 1 house, 2 sheeps

PLAYER 5 / YELLOW (east, TC on Cologne, Germany):
"Alamans" (Teutons):
4 villagers, 6 huskarls, 1 sheep

PLAYER 6 / RED (north, TC on London, England):
"English" (Britons):
3 villagers, 1 fishing ship, 1 dock, 1house, 6 spearmen, 4 sheeps

PLAYER 7 / ORANGE (north-east, TC on Ribe, Denmark):
"Danes" (Vikings):
3 villagers, 5 berserks, 1 transport ship, 1 longboat, 4 sheeps

PLAYER 8 / GREEN (south-east, TC approximately on Stuttgart, Germany):
"Hungarians" (Huns or Mongols or Magyars):
4 villagers, 3 tarkans, 3 cavalry archers, 4 sheeps.

I will update soon a new version with more balanced and acurate TC spots and armies, more balance ressources on the map (especially gold and stone on Paris Island, central position and thus the hardest) and one historical national hero different for each age and player.
It will give a little more land to danes too and a stone bridge on Orleans.
