Description
Hey guys I've finally come back with something a bit more practical. Its the Chevy Blazer S10.

This Mid-sized SUV has a 4.3L V6 known as the Vortec V6. It has 190 HP at 5500 RPM while the real engine produces the same power at 4400 RPM and 250 ft-lbs of torque at 2700 RPM while the real one has it at 2800 RPM.

I made it produce the same amount of hp and torque as the L35 Vortec V6 that was put in the Chevy S10 and S10 Blazer.

Specs:

HP: 190 @ 5500 RPM
Torque (ft-lb): 250 @ 2700 RPM
Bore/Stroke: 4.00in/3.48in 101.6mm/88.4mm
Fuel Economy: 15 City/ 20-25 Highway. I only know this because I own a 1998 4-door with a 4.3 in it.
Very Reliable. More reliable than my Honda S2K.
Electric 4x4 that breaks all the time :D

It's a real shame the fuel economy was so dismal. Our Safari 2WD used to get all of 15 mpg in the city and barely 20 on the highway. Half that with a trailer on the back. And the damn middle seats wouldn't come out. Dutch Doors were cool though. and the measly 195 from the vortec was ok, as it was offset by 275 strong, low down lb ft.

I had one as my first car. It was in the repair shop every 3 to 6 months and sure loved to visit the gas station. I always pictured it as my benz as it was an LTZ trim with all the problems of a benz.

Nice!! I have a 95 sonoma w the 4.3 non-vortec hooked to a 5-speed. sadly, 2wd. wish it was manual 4x4
