Very impressive level. Clearly one of the best workshop levels I played so far. I instantly fell in love with it. I't is also quite challenging, which is totally to my liking. And I also appreciate that it hasn't got tons of savestones in it, but just as much as you need, which makes it even more challenging. Thank you so much for it!

Just to make sure: there aren't any hidden secrets in your level, right?

First word : WOOOT ! The design is gigantic, the scale feeling impressive, the few first jumps are tremendous. I don't know if it got fixed but i then managed to go forward without blocking anything by taking the blue back and jump on its moving block on its way back upto highest scafold assembling i could do with purple ; then that particular blue allowed me to jump even upper and so on . But the hardest part was to figure out in wich exact order to do things (no spoiler) to land to the last level part. Excellent work all the way !

for those seeking a similar experience, you may look towards the game Against The Wall [www.againstthewallgame.com]. it's not released, and has been in development hell for some time now, but it's being developed by only one student.

if i didn't know any better, i'd say that this level was inspired by Against The Wall. if not, strikingly similar. regardless, a wonderful level.

I just posted 10 tips for building great levels and avoiding pitfalls in the Workshop discussions here:

Hope it helps. Keep building - your levels are great! :)

@ Limboh Ya, you were supposed to use the blocks to stop the platforms. Unfortunately, there seems to be a bug where blocks cannot stop platforms in workshop levels. In fact, when I tested the level in play mode, I could stop the blocks; but once again, it appears to be bugged in the workshop… Sigh…

Anyways, really creative skip there! I didn’t think you could do that, but turns out I gave just enough blocks for you to make that crazy jump.

@ Mrs Ellie Thanks for the in-depth feedback once again. However, since this was my first level with the editor and I was trying to figure things out, I don’t really have the motivation to tweak it. I’ll make a small change to make the level possible in the workshop, but that’s about it. I really want to move on to making more levels at this time, rather than working on previous ones. Nevertheless, I appreciate your feedback and will keep it in mind while making my next level.

I got stuck where Ellie got stuck, are you supposed to hinder the second large block with red blocks and then activate it? Because that worked in the main game, but in this level the block just clips right through.

So I just decided to skip the second half of the level, I wonder what it would have looked like.

This is a great level - dramatic architecture, consistent mood, and unique puzzles. Excellent use of a really large space! There are a couple of things you might consider changing, though, to improve it even further.

1. Consider beginning somewhere out from the wall that gives you a sweeping panorama of the level without revealing too many details of the gameplay; and then use a moving platform to bring you in. This sets the tone and teaches the player that this level is about long range platform use.

2. After the second save stone (great use of save stones so far!), the view of the portal was great - but then the path became unclear. Everywhere there was rubble I could climb on, I thought maybe that was the path. Consider making the real path clearer - a stripe on the floor, lighting cues, unclimbable areas which are just for viewing, etc.

3.I spent a lot of time trying to get on top of the moving platform, only to be disappointed when it only went part of the way. I then understood the purpose of the platforms, but I think they could be developed in a clearer way. If the first one was out of reach, but keyed from a place where you can see what it does, then the player will get the idea. The last one could be the one the player rides to cross the gap.

Overall, a great level! Just maybe a little more of a linear path after that second save stone, and one puzzle at a time – if the puzzle is keying the platforms, maybe make it easier to find the keys. If you made the keys more visible, then the puzzle becomes jumping to the keys. Having both at once is a little hard. Let me know if you change anything! :)
