Spirit of Fire CFV-88

Based on the Halo ship of the same name. First introduced as the unarmed Phoenix class colony ship in the 24th century, the Spirit of fire was originally meant to transport thousands of human settlers to new worlds. Many of the ships of this class were retrofitted during the insurrection with offensive weaponry and meant to support ground action against colonies under insurrectionist control. Typically used as a siege vessel the Spirit of Fire has more robust weaponry than the average carrier and a startling size making up half of the length of a Covenant assault carrier at 2.5 kilometers.
