Made for my personal server.
I'd set it hidden, but hidden mods won't be loaded by the server.

* DX9 USERS: Blocks are currently only recolorable in DX11 mode.

Bringing the awesome of the Graphene block to DX11

Basically, I love the graphene armor block. But it's taking forever to update to DX11. Since installing WindowsX, The game only functions in DX11 mode for me. This was made purely so I didn't loose my entire fleet of ships to this issue. Also for this reason.

If your unsure if you should install this. The answer is probably NO
This is a niche mod, designed for a very specific scenario.

** Updated blocks now have been recreated new from the ModSDK assets. Just completed first pass at creating original textures.

Blocks made DX11 compatible:
[01/09/2015] Large Armor Cube
[01/09/2015] Large Armor Slope
[01/09/2015] Large Armor Corner
[01/09/2015] Large Armor Inverse Corner
[14/10/2015] Small Armor Cube

UPDATES:
[02/09/2015] First pass of new textures
[14/10/2015] Fixed DX9 textures. Added Small Armor Cube

NEXT UPDATE:
More small armor blocks

Known issues:
Mismatched texture scaling.
Missing original shinyness, but is now colorable.
Blocks not recolorable in DX9 mode.

TL;DR This is a drop in replacement for the graphene armor blocks with some updated to work in DX11

You did really great work man, really allowed me to continue using my graphine ships. I hope you come out with more stuff even if this is now obsolete.

Now the graphene mod is getting updated. This one will very likely go poof shortly after it's release.
Just giving some advanced warning for people to switch back to the official mod when it's done

I too actually started this mod only for myself. I was annoyed at the time that we could blow the holy hell out of the blast door material (not the new 3 block automated one mind you...) and waltz into someones base. A blast door should be able to take a lot more than one rocket. So graphene came into being. But alas, I too could not have it on my server unless it were published.. :D
So I marked it as Alpha, so people wouldn't complain. It grew, then came Beta. Then DX11 came and I regretted it. :P
Actually. Since I have played this recently, I've discovered a weird glitch. My new graphene lines of cubes will sometimes disappear. I have likewise found that sticking something like a light somewhere on it, will bring it back and stay back. But.. hmm.
So the code needs to be cleaned up I guess.

This was mostly just a temp thing for my personal server to tide me over till you got yours updated. I'd have set it private... But then my server could'nt load it.
I asked if it were ok to fork on your mod page months ago... But received no reply.
Whats's the latest? Your is pretty much my favourite mod. Would love to see it ported over to DX11.

Small blocks will be coming soon. I today made a start on them with the small cube block.
Most my time has been spent trying to make the mod also work in DX9 mode. The textures show up in DX9 as of now. But they can only be recolored in DX11.

Thanks a lot for this DX11 Update, i haven't play since april and i enjoy very much that you have bring this mod to DX11 !
I have a little question (and before it i have read some page's of comment and i didn't found that question :p), can you maybe do the same for small blocks ?
