Cactus Canyon Revision #7a

Description
I did not make this map! This is a Valve-made map.
To be specific, this is Cactus Canyon as it existed in the patch of August 21, 2014, the seventh version*. In the patches on August 27th and September 10th, Valve removed this second stage so they could get more data on Stage 3 (with the train), making it the new Stage 2.

Subscribe to this map to be able to play Cactus Canyon with all three stages again! At least until (and if) Valve adds Stage 2 back in in an update that takes Cactus Canyon and maybe Asteroid out of beta.

I don't remember where I downloaded this version of the map, but at one point I thought that Valve had left it in the game, hidden but unused.

For those curious, the file name is pl_cactuscanyon_rev07a.bsp
To play it by yourself without copying the file from "steamapps/workshop/content/440/485960308" to "steamapps/common/Team Fortress 2/tf/download/maps" or "/tf/maps", open the console (~/`) and type "map workshop/485960308"

Credit should go to Reddit user (he's on Steam somewhere, no doubt) Pikatf2 for saving this version of the map and putting it on his site. I guess that's where I got this. http://pikatf2.serverpit.com/tf/maps/

Hello there

I have made a fully working Navigation Mesh for this map.

(I generated it by marking the sections with nav_mark_walkable and and then nav_generate_incremental).

So, if you want a working navmesh for this map, you can ask me if you want me to upload it).

I never said anything suggesting you shouldn't do what you want to do. I was just wondering what you planned on doing. You jumped to a conclusion. What you do is your business. Also, it's the Steam Workshop, not the Steam Community Market.

By all means, share what you've made.

Yes I intend to upload my version to the tf2 community market at some point but if you think this map shouldn't be there then even if it does (or rather it will be on the tf2 community market) then just ignore it. Also in your first post you wrote that it would be nice if this map was renewed and now you advise against it so what is the point of this post?
