Amphion - Manta - Collection Vessel

The Manta is a specialized collection vessel that comes with an array of sensors, warning systems, refineries, and a massive engine configuration, required to provide enough thrust to get this vessel where it needs to be quickly. The Manta has a dual-gravity collection system, as well as a garbage ejection system. The main distinction that the Manta has from other Amphion collection vessels is its overall width and height. This enables it to hug asteroids more closely while exposing itself less to potential meteor storms. It is the largest of the RAY series of Amphion Collectors.

The sensor array provides numerous safety warnings and notifications. If the wings come close to being damaged, warning notifications will flash in the command deck, as well as other feedback systems.

The command deck also has a fairly wide view, providing good surveying possibilities for intrepid explorers.

On the command deck, she has several control seats to provide personnel access to her weapon systems. As a standard on newer Amphion craft, rocket launchers are linked and can be fired by the pilot, but only in dire situations.

The processing portion of the ship has two sets of refineries dedicated to specific ores, rare earth metals and other materials. The arc furnace is set up to accept more common ores and metals. There is only one assembler on the ship, as the Manta is not designed as a manufacturing vessel. It also only contains one oxygen generator.

For the crew, she has 4 cryopods, 4 passenger seats (for the extra large parties), and a fully pressurized cabin setup. As is standard on all large Amphion ships, a medical bay is in one of the pressurized cabins.
