Description
This modification is made to work with my 500/250 MaxSpeed mod. So now you have less chances to catch your own bullet or missile when firing at high velocities. Still need to be cautious though.

This mod also affects ammo from CSD Bomb Launcher and OKI Weapons Collection. If you dont have that mods, no need to install them if you dont want, it will still work on vanilla ammo.
IMPORTANT: This mod must be on top of CSD Bomb Launcher and OKI Weapons Collection in your modlist.

Also I recomend to use Rocket Launcher Exploding Fix that cause rockets to spawn farther ahead of your rocket launcher.

Rebalance details:

Small Caliber (Rifle and Interrior Turret)
  • MaxSpeed = 800 (300 in vanilla)
  • Travel Distance = 400 (800 in vanilla)
It's usually used inside ships and stations at short distances, so no more cheap anti meteor defence!

Large Caliber (Gatling Gun and Gatling Turret)
  • MaxSpeed = 700 (300 in vanilla)
  • Travel Distance = 800 (as in vanilla)

Missile (Standard 200mm Missile)
  • MaxSpeed = 1000 (700 in vanilla)
  • Travel Distance = 1600 (800 in vanilla)
  • Initial Speed = 50 (100 in vanilla)
  • Acceleration = 200 (600 in vanilla)
This means missiles easier to dodge or shoot down at close range battle and harder at long distances when missile already at maximum speed. Of course it is harder to hit the target from the 1600 meters.

CSD Bomb
  • MaxSpeed = 1000 (25 by default)
  • Travel Distance = 2400 (800 by default)
  • Initial Speed = 10 (20 by default)
  • Acceleration = 0 (as default) This is bomb, not missile, remember?
Now yours bombers are able to high speed bombardment. For more info and how to use CSD Wakebombs properly read CSD Bomb Launcher page.

OKI 23mm Ammo
  • MaxSpeed = 800 (500 by default)
  • Travel Distance = 1000 (800 by default)

OKI 50mm Ammo
  • MaxSpeed = 700 (300 by default)
  • Travel Distance = 1200 (1000 by default)

OKI 122mm Ammo
  • MaxSpeed = 600 (250 by default)
  • Travel Distance = 700 (as default)

OKI 230mm Ammo
  • MaxSpeed = 400 (200 by default)
  • Travel Distance = 1600 (1200 by default)

mod works great still but ahvent had the time to stare at tracers to asnwer my questions. issue is my speed mods at 'stable under all circumstances' speeds of 250l and 400s are no longer 'stable under all.... so havignt o dumb it down to a pitifull 100l and 200s... so this mod now makes every gun a fly swatter... wish i could keep the range buffs but turrets never shot over 800mt anyway.

howd the game become 'less' stable over time? hopefully they look to buffing speeds stock game soon so theyll look at making speeds more stable.... theres the repeating idea of a thrust-to-mass ratio determinign max speed seems interesting.

have some questions as i LOVE that this works with stock and oki and balance ahs been taken into consideration aswell. (i play on suing this on a server im starting up and im making use of a speed mod aswell).
1- how badly, if at all, do these changes and velocities mess with AI turret targeting (at speed, firing these velocities, tested?).
2- do you know if this works with the target lead mod? http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails?id=719015315 (think itle be better if i ask them tho tbh)
3- do rounds going at these velocities have adverse performance on server speeds or is the speed change not drastic enough for somethign like projectiles? (i know larger ships over 400 do have adverse effect).

Missiles are utterly useless in a game with a speed mod that goes over 200ms... Would it be possible to increase the speed of the missiles? rather than having your ship randomly shoot them all into space and miss everything that moves (even big ships).

С этим - RB Compact Reloadable Rocket Launcher - ничего не делает. Но надо учитывать, что если в модлисте тот мод будет выше, то он перезапишет параметры для 200мм ракеты (если там используется идентификатор ванильной ракеты).

Пардон, ошибся с названием, он называется RB Compact Reloadable Rocket Launcher. Возможно ли отребалансить 100мм и 400мм ракеты аналогично "новой" 200мм ракете отсюда?

Зимний, не знаю, про какой Compact Weapons pack ты говоришь, так что этот мод ничего с ним не делает, если только тот не использует один из перечисленных видов аммуниции.

Spices up my tactic of shootin' off enemy's turrets while in an interceptor with 88mm Battlecannon, then capturing an unarmed ship.
