Hiigaran Destroyer

Description
This is my first workshop upload, based of the Hiigaran Destroyer from the game Homeworld 2. Made to attack frigates and other capital ships on up, most areas are 3 blocks thick (I work with light armor exclusively).


A few things to note:
>The heavy turrets are all linked to a remote core thanks to the multi-control script downladed from the workshop
>the blast door located ar the lower rear of the ship has sensors that will auto open/close it when a player gets in range
>the ship currently clocks in at 90MSP ar full speed
>Due to my terrible ability to design interiors, there are 3 empty rooms you can fill and customize, hell edit the crew room as it looks meh right now...
>the minotaur cannons ans missles are conveyor linked to the cargo containers, same with the Azimuth reactors
>the heavy turrets are NOT connected to a conveyor system, partially because to make them independent, mostly because I wasn't aware that advanced rotors had conveyor capacity. However, each turret has 6 small cargo holds.
>has working elevators
>assuming the groups made it in: Cannons group 1=forward most turret/ Cannons-2=middle turret/ cannons-3=rear turret/ cannons-4=bottom turret (then again i don't think that one is grouped due to it's behavior....



Disclamers:
Bottom turret's rotor will counteract the upper 3 and, as a result, rotates opposite
Said heavy turrets DO NOT pitch, (i'm too noobish to get that to work)
The actual reactor room past the containment doors has no oxygen due to a bug with the titan engines not sealing the place.

IMPORTANT>>>>>>>when in control of the control core, make sure you bring up the progammable block and check the codes, then hit run to activate the turret system. IT WILL RESET EVERY TIME YOU LEAVE so remember that.


Control Help:
>>to properly utilize the heavy turrets, the destroyer must be broadsided much like in the game they came from, preferrably with the cockpit facing away from the target (also, AC-130s do this as well). Also a good idea to tilt the ship to better aim. EDIT: Minimum Crew requirements: 2
EDIT 2: when under turret control, the mouse pointer/crosshairs is what the turrets will track, sans the drunken lower one.

EDIT: scrapped the vaygr destroyer in favor for the hiigaran BT, damn thing was too complex and my brain cracked

@Exxia less weight that the thrusters have to move. Reducing stress on the reactors saving fuel. That and the lighter the craft the more manuverable it tends to be. You can add twenty gyros to a heavy armored and it would take all day to turn.

Love your builds! Currently working on a 1:1 scale Kushan Carrier, perhaps we could work together to produce an entire Homeworld Fleet on Space Engies?

Oy to those that care, The Hiigaran Battlecruiser is finally finished and ready for action...but a problem has occurred. As you know, a certain hot topic has begun to spiral out of control and has gotten me worried, so for now: I will get a instructional video for proper operation done, but I will wait and see how this hot topic drags on before posting said Battlecruiser on the workshop. I'm certain other ship builders that use mods are doing this as well, but that's beyond me ATM. Apologies for this mess, but I will send out a battle call to test (IE fight my ship for science) once I'm certain the situation simmers down enough.

To anyone following: The Hiigaran Battlecruiser has reached its final stage (heavy armor skin implementation). With any luck, after I find a way to record a vid of it and obtain help to get it stress tested, She should be launched from the Nabaal and into workshop as a world file by Saturday this week at best.

As of right now, the Hiigaran Battlecruiser is eating up my time and energy (and if you see the link below a bit, you can see how big she is). I do plan on restructuring the destroyer with a heavy armor skin, an internalized command pit and better weapon system based off Complex. As for the vaygr, I originally built a destroyer but the akward design of the "arms" drove me nuts and had to scrap it for now.
