Dynamic and Random Lucky Nations

Description
Ever started a game with 'Random Lucky Nations' enabled thinking "Oh man, this game sure is going to be interesting, since France won't be super OP, just kinda OPish. I wonder if Albania will be a lucky nation so I can see them kick Ottomans out of Europe!", and then found out that France got to be a lucky nation anyway, and that Albania did most certainly not kick Ottomans out of Europe? Well this is the mod for you (Or not, but marketing told me this is something I should say)

Introducing: DYNAMIC AND RANDOM LUCKY NATIONS for EU IV

What you'll find by using this mod
  • Completely random lucky nations
  • Luck bonuses adjust over time depending on nation's size (If you want)
  • Really random lucky nations
  • France not being a lucky nation half the time
  • Like, I'm serious. They are very random
  • No cheese

What you WON'T find in this mod
  • "Random" lucky nations
  • We-say-it's-random-but-not-really lucky nations
  • Complete overhaul of colonisation mechanics
  • Non Random lucky nations (Unless you choose to play with a totally historically accurate list of lucky nations)
  • New and exciting events for Mong Yang and Sulu
  • Random lucky nations that are not actually random
  • Cheese

So how does it work?
Simple! Around a month after you start a game, you're given the choice to play with absolutely random lucky nations, absolutely random lucky nations with the normal vanilla bonuses, the normal historically accurate lucky nations, or no lucky nations at all (If you're into that. Weirdo)

Wait. What about the dynamic part of the mod? Are you trying to fool me?
Most certainly not! See, the thing with random lucky nations is that more often than not very small and doomed from the start nations will be chosen. To solve that, lucky nations are divided in 4 categories:
  • Normal lucky nations get the usual lucky bonuses, which you can find here[www.eu4wiki.com]
  • Medium lucky nations have a development below 250 (duchy rank) but above 75. They get the bonuses normal lucky nations get, on drugs (aka same bonuses but a bit stronger). They will update their lucky status every fifty years. This means that they may have the bonuses while being bigger than 75 base tax, but once 50 pass from the moment they got the bonuses they will become Normal lucky nations. A list of the bonuses can be found here[i.imgur.com]
  • Small lucky nations are those with a development between 25 and 75. They get the same bonuses as Medium lucky nations but on even more drugs (aka same bonuses but even stronger) and some extra bonuses to be able to collect more money, fight more better and befriend more faster than their non-lucky neighbors. Beware, these bonuses are quite strong (Strong enough that the AI won't die). They will update their lucky status every 5 years. Their bonuses are here[i.imgur.com]
  • Tiny lucky nations have less than 25 developement, and get the same bonuses as Small nations on so many drugs that it's probably illegal to even describe it (aka god help you if you have to fight against these. I'm serious. Just avoid them). They will update their lucky status every 5 years. Their bonuses can be found here[i.imgur.com]
Lucky countries cannot fall back into a more powerful category. This means that if a country becomes medium due to aqcuiring land and then they shrink back to Small size, they won't be getting the Small bonuses, they'll keep Medium bonuses until they are big enough to acquire Normal bonuses.
As an added extra, Tiny and Small lucky nations are extra hostile towards neighbors and will (WILL) break free of any vassalization that does not consume them fast enough.
All lucky nations will also get a free colonist[i.imgur.com] if they are near uncolonized land, and if they're not western they get a small tech reduction depending on their tech group (Example for indian tech[i.imgur.com])

Anything else I need to know?
One more thing! There will be a decision to see what lucky nations are scattered around the globe. Don't forget to check now and then to NOT DIE IN HORRIBLE PAIN.
There is also a decision to change what countries are randomly lucky, for if your game stalls or you just don't like what you got, and an event to manually remove or add lucky countries! Simply open your console and type "event dln.6 TAG" where tag is the tag of the country you wish to change.

Have fun!

I would say it does work, but the description for the event are odd. But if I pick the description with the 10 countries listed they get bonuses ;)
