Awesome Sponsors - Sha'Yuri Clan

In 1 collection by Ryika

Description
Adds the Sha'Yuri Clan to the game, a Sponsor that is focused on making the most of the environment around them.

This Version only works with Rising Tide.

Classic Version: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=533071681
Codex Version: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=837017324

Balanced to be used with the Awesome Sponsors Overhaul Mod.
It works without it, but will likely feel a bit overpowered.

Sponsor Trait

The Sha'Yuri Clan is a sponsor that can use lands around them with very high efficiency. In general, they are great at surviving in hostile environments and making the most of the resources that the planet has to offer.

Due to their synergy with living in harmony with their environment, they naturally lean towards Harmony and unlock additional buildings and tools when they level up the affinity. Choosing to aim for another Affinity is possible - and doing so allows them to combine other Affinities with a unique Miasma-focused playstyle - but will prevent them from gaining access to their unique infrastructure.

WARNING
This mod must be enabled twice, or Unit Actions will not work properly:
- Activate the Mod in the Mod List
- Press 'Next', wait for the game to configure Files
- Press the X Button (or hit escape), wait once again
- Press 'Next' again.
The game will now work properly for the rest of the session, but you will need to repeat this process whenever you restart the game client. This is necessary because of a bug with the game itself. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about it.

So this mod is mostly working for me, but I notice only the 2 orbital units show up in the civlopedia, no other units, no buildings. I also can't build the drone scout despite having harmony 1, so I think something may be bugged with the rest of the added harmony features

The tooltip was also the one for vanilla (which has more info), not the one for Rising Tide. I didn't bother testing it, already started a new game with a different faction.

The normal trade convoy in the base game is the same unit as the normal trade convoy in rising tide, and should work fine, and the way the unit is supposed to work in rising tide - as an amphibic trade unit that can connect to both, land and sea units.

The Trade Vessel on the other hand is entirely non-functional and should not be produced. It's visible for this sponsor because Firaxis hid it in a somewhat hacky way that I missed when I created it. But as long as you don't try to make use of it, it shouldn't cause you any problems.

Bug: I can only build Trade Convoys (vanilla) and Trade Vessels (vanilla) instead of Trade Convoys (Rising Tide) when playing in Rising Tide as this faction. I presume something has gone wrong in your changes to this faction when adapting it from vanilla to Rising Tide.
Real shame, had to abandon a fun game after 2 hours.

All Sponsor Mods prevent animated leaders, that's just how the game handles things.

this or another mod from the pack seems to prevent the use of animated leaders.

Well, the Codex Version works with and requires Codex, this version does not require Codex and will not work properly with it (meaning that no Golden Ages will be available, and the Sponsor will have a random set of Diplomatic Positions).

How is this diffent from the codex version and vice-versa?
