Description
dead, abandoned, on indefinite hiatus, discontinued, you get the idea.

seriously i was but a baby beginner level designer when i tried making this and it's not going anywhere anymore

This map takes place in a Black Mesa Facility (no not the Black Mesa Research Facility :D). I just wanted to try out a map, that isn't located inside the Enrichment Center.

Changelog:

Update 15.01.2015:
Removed the portalgun. The workshop vote page is now triggered by a door the player can't reach (at the moment). Tomorrow i'll fix that, than the portals will be opened automatically.

Update 16/17.01.2015:
Portals are now opening theirselves. Added a observation window to the lab and removed the monitor. I'll try to make a monitor with a prop instead of a brush. Also added a surprise at the beginning of the map.

Update 24.01.2015
I had to remove the flashlight, because the console doesn't accept bind g 'impulse 100' and quotation marks (bind g "impulse 100") crash vbsp.exe

Update 30.01.2015
Added some details (two fuse sets with cables) and a background lighting in the big room with toxic water. I also Removed the 'f to flashlight'-text and added an autosave at the exit auf the air vent. Last but not least, at the end of the map a surprise has been added.

Update 01.02.2015
I tried to include a custom material (hashtagmc_blackmesa_overlay). If it worked you'll find the Black-Mesa logo in the lobby.

Update 10.03.2015
Black Mesa isn't dead! I finally found the error: My custom texture was $translucent so Hammer treated it like glass. I continue working on this map.

Changed the big room with the toxic water. Also removed all pictures and uploaded new pictures.

I use pakrat to add the files.
But what I did find out, if you want to update a map with custom stuff in it, you have re-add the custom material to the map. Save up a back-up (pakrat does that for you though), it can come in handy if you didn't include all custom material.
Just remember, if you add the items to the bsp, save it, upload it to the workshop and find that you didn't include few files, don't re-add the files to the same bsp you just uploaded, cause [something] happens and looks screwed. Have to re-add the items to a new bsp.
