Description



VFE - Power is HIGHLY recommended but not required. The infographics and mod page text assume you have it.

I try not to meta-game too hard, but when it comes to something kinda boring like power, I just default to spamming geothermals and forgetting about the rest.

So, I’ve made a few changes to make this not the case:
  • Normal and Advanced Geothermals have been nerfed to encourage more variety in power setups.

  • Tidal Generators got a small buff since they’re more expensive than geothermals and fill a similar niche.

I also made a few other changes such as Industrial Chemfuel/Wood Fired Generators also getting nerfed a small bit as they were too efficient for what they cost.

Advanced Batteries were given 50% more capacity, a bit more health while doubling the advanced component cost, along with adding a Small Advanced Battery (which VE Power somehow didn’t have).

The Nuclear Reactor also felt underwhelming if it got destroyed nothing happened. Now, if it takes heavy damage or gets destroyed, it’ll explode in a massive radius, leaving behind a crater. (I wanted it to make it create fallout too, but that’s not possible in XML maybe i'll revisit if I ever learn C#.)

Advanced Power and Batteries now require Multi-Analyzer research.

Finally, I buffed the Ship Reactor’s power output by 5x. It’s still inefficient cost-wise, but 1000W for an endgame structure felt pretty lame. Now it gives a nice power boost while you’re surviving those final raids.

heres an idead, with biotech (i think thats the one) have it do a month long toxic fallout along with a massive pollution spread. or you can try and make your own version

nuclear reactors may glow blue, but green is better because green is my favorite color and thus is the best color. checkmate science.

GRRR... GRRRRR!!! please chgange the nuclear reactor to be blue or atleast add an option to make it blue cause if you look at an image of the nuclear reactor they glow BLUE NOT GREEN! THE HOLLYWOOD HAS FOOLED THE MASSES! THIS IS
