Tool Forge

Description
Tool Forge is a mod that let's players construct their tools and weapons out of multiple individual parts to create their own custom tools.

Currently adds:
  • Pickaxes: 34 parts
  • Shovels: 30 parts
  • Shotguns: 23 parts
More tools/weapons are planned.

Tools can be crafted in the Parts Bench, found in the vanilla workstation. Parts can be combined together in a Tool Crafting Station, which is also found in the vanilla workstation.

Parts can also be found as loot items from various chests, as boss drops, or even incursion rewards. These parts have additional stat bonuses, which further increase the strength of a crafted tool. Bonuses can also be created and strengthened in a Modifier Anvil, which is found in Tungsten Workstations.

Will there be more tools?
Yes. Glaives are currently being worked on, and need a few more additions and textures before being added. Machineguns are in need of textures and need to be updated for Necesse 1.0 changes.

After that, bows and axes are likely the next two additions. After that, it will be whatever tool/weapon I feel like working on at the moment and/or what people request most.

Additionally, patches for specific mods are planned to add in tools/weapons from other mods.

Ok, but why release it now?
Because I've been starting at this for three and a half months and I really want to get some feedback before I keep adding more stuff at this point. And I had to wait for 1.0 since I knew that would definitely break a bunch of stuff.

Compatibility
This mod should be multiplayer compatible. Multiplayer needs a few more improvements, but is currently functional.

Did you update the jar file on the server?

Seems to have resolved it -

Okay, that's good news lol. I was expecting a pain in the ass process but nah, no more incorrect game version issue.

Please do reply. since the reverification issue has cropped up before in the workshop.
Snart Fiffer 22 Oct @ 5:05pm
Oo reverifying. Smart, and it's Mod Settings Lib, regardless of unsub/resub, manually going in and removing the file, unsubscribing and resubscribing again after the fact -

I'm gonna verify files now and see what happens. If I forget to reply, chances are it resolved itself -

Which mod specifically? And does unsubscribing/resubscribing not solve the issue? Alternatively, try reverifying the game files after subscribing.

Weird? There's definitely something wrong on my end because I do indeed see it has been updated though my own attempt to delete and reinstall leaves me still showing that it's got the incorrect game version error in the mod list.

I will figure it out, I now know it's on me lol

Both this mod and Mod Settings Lib are updated for 1.0.1. Double check you have the latest version of both.
