Adds 9 new Crypto Bionics, each unlocking unique cryonic powers and stat boosts.
All implants are locked behind research requiring both Bionics and Cryptosleep.

Crypto Eyes
  • Sight increased
  • Slightly reduces incoming damage
  • Provides minor armor heat protection
  • Slightly slower movement speed

  • Shares texture with bionic eyes

Crypto Core
  • Greatly enhances part efficiency
  • Reduces incoming damage
  • Provides major armor heat protection
  • More comfortable in cooler temperatures
  • Slightly lowers learning and movement speed

Crypto Blowback: When struck, releases crypto energy that inflicts a cold-based damage-over-time effect on nearby enemies.

Crypto Lungs
  • Breathing efficiency increased
  • Slightly reduces incoming damage
  • Adds moderate armor heat protection
  • More comfortable in cooler temperatures
  • Slightly lowers learning and movement speed

Crypto Breath: Unleashes a gust of crypto energy that crystallizes mid-air. On impact, shards explode, causing hypothermia and frostbite damage. Each lung adds one charge.

Crypto Spine
  • Slightly reduces incoming damage
  • Provides minor armor heat protection
  • More comfortable in cooler temperatures
  • Slightly lowers learning and movement speed

  • Bonus Frostbite Damage: 4

Cryolize: Infuses the target’s bloodstream with crypto energy, slowing bleedout at the cost of natural healing. Useful when multiple wounds can’t be treated quickly.

Cryptothermia: Applies a cryonic damage-over-time effect that weakens combat performance and chills the victim from within.

Cryptoaegis Arms
  • Manipulation increased
  • Slightly reduces incoming damage
  • Provides greater armor heat protection
  • Moves slower overall
  • More comfortable in cooler temperatures
  • Slightly lowers learning rate
  • Attack Power: 16
  • Bonus Frostbite Damage: 6

Icewall: Creates a short ring of durable ice walls capable of enclosing pawns inside.

Crypto Legs
  • Maintains movement capability
  • Slightly reduces incoming damage
  • Adds minor armor heat protection
  • More comfortable in cooler temperatures
  • Slightly lowers learning and movement speed
  • Grants use of the Crypto Jump ability

Crypto Jump: Allows the user to leap over long distances. Upon landing, a shockwave of cryonic energy radiates outwards, causing hypothermia and frostbite damage. Each leg provides one charge.

Crypto Exoskeleton
  • Greatly reduces incoming physical damage
  • Increases sharp, blunt, and heat armor
  • Significantly slows movement speed
  • More comfortable in cooler temperatures
  • Slightly lowers learning rate

Crypto Shield: Generates a reactive cryonic shield that slows inbound attacks while allowing full offense. Weaker than high-tier shield belts but stacks with other defense systems.

Cryptoskin
  • Slightly reduces incoming damage
  • Improves armor heat protection
  • Expands comfort range (-30C to +30C)
  • Slightly slower movement speed
  • Slightly lowers learning rate

Q: What did you change from the original?
A: The list of changes is below:
  • Removed the Crypto Bionics research tab and merged the project into the main research tab.
  • Rewrote the C# logic for Crypto Jump, Icewall, and Crypto Blowback.
  • Fixed all errors from the original version and improved both the XML and C#.
  • Ported the mod to RimWorld versions 1.5 and 1.6.
  • Switched framework from Athena to EBSG.

Q: What’s this mod’s compatibility with others?
A: Combat Extended? Nah, maybe again one day, but unlikely. Feel free to make your own patches. Otherwise, it should work fine alongside most mods.

Q: THE IMPLANTS ARE TOO WEAK, THEY’RE IMPOSSIBLE TO GET, AND BIONICS ARE BROKEN! THERE’S NO BALANCE! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?
