Mission Board

Description
Adds a simple Mission Board which lets you manually select and activate quests and events. No more waiting around for the Storyteller to give you events — easily choose the events that you want, whether you want combat, visitors, or DLC quests.

Features:

Manual Quest & Event Selection: Send a pawn to access the Mission Board, and pick which event or quest you want to happen right away.

Event Categories: Quests and Events have been grouped by category; Combat, Good, and DLC.

How to Use:

You can build the Mission Board for 100 Silver, located in the Misc Category.

Select a pawn and right click the Mission Board.

Pick a category: Combat, Good, or DLC.

Select an event or quest — events trigger immediately, quests become available as usual.

Compatibility:

Does not require any DLC; if you are missing the DLC, the category will not be included in the list.

Known Issues:

  • Occasionally, some of the Royalty quests will not show up properly if you do not have a pawn with Honor.

  • The "Odyssey > Ancient Mercenaries" quest description does not show up properly, but works fine if you travel to the location.

  • The "Odyssey > Orbital Fugitive" requires the "Basic GravTech" research to accept.

I have the same request as the other person, make it cost silver to be more balanced and maybe create a comms contact/option so there's no need to build something and it won't look out of place

Can you make a version that costs silver, cooldown or after you select it pawn has to work there for a bit? I really like this mod but feels too good for my taste

@Rudi Gauss No, since its kind of hard to test to make sure it runs properly, and because it would only work if you had a kidnapped pawn. I don't think I've ever had a kidnapped pawn, so I don't really know. I'm pretty sure you can start the quest from devmode if you need it.

В место того чтобы нагружать себя бессмысленными трудностями ради Неожиданности , Ты можешь Наслаждаться событиями, не ожидая пока они сами к тебе придут,

Необходимость в рассказчиках отпадает. нет никаких неожиданностей. нет игры. Просто строишь развиваешься и лежишь на шезлонге под кондиционером, а когда тебе захотелось - просишь мохито. А в чем смысл тогда?

Would love if this could automatically detect quests from mods - and an expansion to order orbital traders of specific types for a silver cost.

Might I suggest an option to make it random? I love the idea of forcing a Quest or Mission, but I'd rather not have the cheat to choose what happens.
