Description
Elite Weapons

This mod rebalances and enhances several advanced weapon modules in Endless Space 2.
The goal is to make these tools viable DPS alternatives instead of underwhelming “utility” options. Battles now feel faster, deadlier, and far more cinematic.

Features
  • Increased attack speed Almost all weapons have increased attack speed, including Flak from kinetic weaponry.
  • Squadrons Squadron mods now spawn 3 fighters and 2 bombers. Carriers are now viable as actual "carriers."
  • Railguns now maintain accuracy at all ranges and higher damage.
  • Coilguns Deal much more base damage and shred. Range tables altered slightly.
  • Swarm Missiles unleash larger, more powerful salvos. They are now effectively an alternative missile module if you want raw DPS while being effective vs Flak. Their flight speed is slightly lowered to balance them for the massive damage increase, giving flak a chance to knock out a few.
  • Missiles faster flight speed, faster fire rate. Everything else remains the same.
  • Big Cannon Modules Now attack faster than regular nodes while maintaining the bonus damage. It just feels "right" that those big cannons are powerful as hell, so now they are. Enjoy!

Future Plans
I DO plan to balance this out properly. Need feedback and play experience to see how this holds up. Expect more updates in the future.

Load AFTER ESG and any other mods that alter weapons modules.

Fixed the jacked up power numbers. Not sure why they were so dang high but they are normal again.
