XCOM Ships

Description
XCOM Ships
A mod heavily inspired by the classic UFO: Enemy Unknown game and it's sequel Terror from the Deep, I've taken a few of the alien ships in those games and converted them to Rimworld style.

Most of the ships in the game are multi level so this isn't a direct 1:1 reproduction (also getting each cell to map to a cell in X-Com either didn't feel right or just plain didn't work since X-Com walls don't take up space)

What this also adds as a vital part of Sectoid craft design are Thrusters that can be inside the gravship, I've styled them after the Power Cores on the ship in game and so they also provide 500w of power, but this means that each gravship is fully sealed.
These thrusters work just the same as the normal small thruster and can be built after discovering Standard Gravtech, costing 250 Steel, 5 Components and 200 Uranium

There's also for the TFTD ships an Ion-Beam Accelerator, similar to a large thruster, they need 200 Steel, 80 Vacstone, 8 Components and 200 Uranium to build.

If you have my other mod XCom Materials added, then not only with these ships spawn with the correct coloured hulls, but also the thruster and ion-beams will need Elerium and Zrbite to build.

Needs my other mod Gravship Exporter to be added to your game at which point you can start your adventure with one of these alien vessels.

Ship Details
UFO: Enemy Unknown Ships
Abductor
In game a double level large craft, in Rimworld a strangely shaped moderate sized Gravship, includes 4 hospital beds as a nod to the expermentation room in the original game

Large Scout
In game a single level medium craft, in Rimworld a cross shaped Gravship with nothing special, a few mores shelves than a default Gravship and some smaller rooms that could be turned into Bedrooms etc. easily

Medium Scout
In game the smallest ship you'll encounter (other than the 1 Alien Small Scout), in Rimworld a small ship, containing a few more shelves and a larger fuel tank compared to vanilla, also has a few extra strangely placed chairs as a reference to the original games chairs on this ship

Supply Ship
In game a very large triple level ship, in Rimworld I took the middle floor and added doors from the lower floor to create a figure of eight shaped ship with an incredible amount of shelving space (It is a Supply Ship after all) again in a nod to the original game, includes 2 Hospital Beds as a reference to "reproduction chambers" and a Kitchen Stove in reference to alien food conainers.

Terror Ship
In game a large double level ship with double doors to transport the larger terror aliens you meet, in Rimworld this is the only armed ship in this series (Two autocannons), it's also the largest in foot print, needing one grav extender (though having 2 for symmetry) and having heavy Double security doors (I may at some point see if I can extend this ship so that if you have anomaly it comes with some containment facilities as referenced but my goal was for this pack to work with only Odyssey if that's all the user has)

Terror from the Deep Subs
Escort
In game a tiny ship with just a few shelves and some Ion Beam Thrusters, the original was so tiny this is just because it has a fun shape.

Cruiser
In game a larger ship, with some beds, some in ship defences to hide behind and a large fuel capacity, yes it does look like that I agree.

Heavy Cruiser
More heavily armed that most ships, lost of fuel and lots of thrusters, suffers from a lack of second floor vs the original game.

Hunter
My personal favourite, inspired by the game noting examination rooms, includes 2 small hospitals and two bedrooms, 4 Ion-Beam Accelerators and lots of fuel and a Pilot subpersona core to help fly the ship.

Fleet Supply Cruiser
A strange shape, 4 bedrooms and the most storage so far give it a particular niche

Battleship
The most fully functional, includes a manufactory, rec room, two bedrooms, a shield, 4 turrets and 2 hunter drone traps, probably overkill but it looks fun !

Dreadnought
In the original game a multi level monster that is very basically shaped, in Rimworld I took one of the middle floors as the design to make it interesting, large gaps in the middle of the ship all with access so could use for growing when landing etc.

All credit for the included screenshots to MicroProse and Mythos Games.

Update to add floors now that Gravship Export can handle them, if you've got the materials mod they'll be alien material tiles, if not then just metal tiles from vanilla.
