Out of Combat Move Speed Boost (Continued)

Description
Continuation of the original, created by Murmur - can be found here

Makes all pawns move faster outside of combat by applying a multiplier.
handy for those who play on larger maps and/or prefer to build more spread out colonies without worrying about pawns spending half the day walking across the colony.
The effect is disabled when an active threat is detected, so it does not affect combat.

Details
A configurable movement speed multiplier is applied to all pawns on local maps. When any active threat is detected the effect will be disabled.

Examples of non-active threats, which are ignored, are: dormant pawns (e.g. mechanoids), uninitiated turrets (e.g. dormant mechanoid turrets), insects minding their own business, and just generally any hostile pawns who aren't attacking your colonists.

The effect is applied to all local maps, and if an active threat is detected on any local map, the effect is disabled for all local maps.

The multiplier is configurable from 1.1x to 10x, with a default value of 3x. You can manually switch the effect on/off either with the toggle in the bottom right (under the time controls), or use the hotkey (default '5', configurable in options > controls > keyboard configuration)

Settings
  • change the speed multiplier (default 3x)
  • Show speed boost toggle
  • Enable Manual reactivation after automatic disabling
  • Disable effect when drafted
  • Enable notification when enabling / disabling the effect automatically
