Remember Reach - Multiplayer and Firefight for Halo 3/ODST

Description
Zealot, Tempest, Battle Canyon, and Ridgeline have been ported into Halo 3. All gametypes are supported but not tested, and Forge is available except for Ridgeline which is currently bugged. Original sounds and effects from Reach are brought to these maps. Zealot features the zero gravity area. Reach vehicle variants* are avaiable in Forge.

*variants are purely cosmetic and vehicles function exactly as they do in Halo 3



Map layout changes:

Zealot

-Assault rifles replace Plasma repeaters

-Brute shot replaces concussion rifle

-Plasma rifles and spikers added to map

-Sword is available on all game modes

-Active camo added to map center. Bubble shield added, and regenerator added

Tempest

-Active camo added to each side. Power drain and regenerators added.

Ridgeline

-Active camo added to each side. Trip mines replace grenade launcher. Bubble shields and regenerators added.

Battle Canyon

-Gravity lift replaces grenade launchers

I do a lot of moddong with assembly I just add seats through the scripts on there. Getting inside the forge ball and giving it a Sentinel beam. Or the Sentinel equipment you can put a seat in it and drive it around also very fun. I gave mine banshee 2 physics. Works with xbox players they can't get in it but can see you driving around

@Unholy Maniac Yeah the whole Forge World palette plus the CE Anniversary/DLC items and whatever will fit from Halo 3 will be included in the palettes. Reach vehicles including the Falcon and Sabre will also be in. I'll definitely consider biped driving too

Just to temper expectations there is no AI planned for the initial launch of Forge World. Not that it won't happen eventually, it's just not a planned feature at first.

Should add vehicle seats for bipeds you can spawn in forge (not AI) makes for fun customs i do it on halo 3 a lot. Driving the Sentinel around is fun

If you do. Should add the whole forge pallet from all halo 3 and halo reach levels into one. I know the item limit but having the options alonw would be nice.

Basically just made the map more like Halo 2. Closed off the back closet doors and replaced the back base lifts with 2-way teles. It did keep the mid caves open which I do agree was a nice addition to the map. I believe Countdown's only geo change was adding those little lips to the back base Health Pack plats so you can jump to them from the back staircases. Zealot closed off all the lifts and put a 1-way tele from the bottom of gold lift to the 2nd level.

@HeX Reapers I wasn't planning on any variants as I don't believe I can upload forge variants in the mod itself, but I'd be open to it and posting a file somewhere. I'm familiar with Zealot's changes, which ones did Canyon have? And yes Countdown is in progress, about to hit the polish stage.

@MilesTailsprower06 You won't have to wonder for much longer...

@TonyTheDudeTV No plans to do any more Halo 2 ports. I have Backwash and Gemini close to done but I believe another modder (Pepper) is working on bringing the entirety of Halo 2 into Halo 3 so I felt it was unnecessary to continue.

Any plans for hardcore variants of Canyon and Zealot at some point for more sweaty matches? Both maps had some pretty needed changes to be played competitively. Having comp versions of both maps (and hopefully Countdown at some point) would bolster H3's sweaty map pool a ton.
