Trivia:
Reukiqo[en.wikipedia.org], Meridamate (Distributor of Honey) of Kukerade[en.wikipedia.org], his family includes Iqoruta and Keraniqoja. (Note the iqo[en.wiktionary.org] in everyone's names) These are essentially plays on one another and made up characters, except for Reukiqo, depending on how and which Reukiqo you reference from myth. Thus Reukiqo may have been the King in Nakaso. The Meridamate epithet is a little tongue in seek, and I might make it into an minor in game equipable title at some point too if ppl want it. But essentially our semi-mythical-semi-fictional Reukiqo has claimed the throne via using an low-level title and position to take power. Think like Henry Tudor, who came from an minor cadet branch, Ghengis Khan who was an outcast of an former chief Yesugei or Ramesses I who got chosen to succeed Horemheb but had been an general in the army before this. While the faction name essentially means Cyclades, but is an reconstruct from the Linear B[en.wiktionary.org] personal name but with changed grammar to make it a place name.

This faction is imo quite interesting, I gave it four new units, plus some additional existing units for it's roster. Except for archaeology, we know quite little of this area for the 1200bc time-period. But what makes it more so imo is the starting location, your province has all the resources, food, wood, gold, bronze and once you take Watuparaja, stone. Also, you'll be threatened from all sides since your an island nation, but you can also make it more difficult to land on your shores by building forts. Your not an sea people, but also not too far from them at the same time.

@Ostrogoth2299 still interested in an Athens mod?

More fiction than historical as with most things in the bronze age but especially true here. Simply due to knowing virtually nothing beyond archeology of this area. I've taken the extremly little mentions and run with it, constructed an probable (but ofc unconfirmed name for the Cyclades). Reukiqo is just mentioned, even then without detail on any family, type personality etc. In comparison the rest of Greece often is a little better, more myth and even some scant writing can exist mentioning the faction, though even there stuff can me calculated, reconstructed or made-up, but to a little lesser degree.
Hope I anwsered your question :)

is this historical or fiction?

I think I talk about those shortly in the kpo-fu midmld page, I make factions I myself am interested in playing. Atm I'm talking a break from faction mods for a moment to play this new faction myself, enjoy my own labour so to say. As to Athens, its honestly less interesting to me, same with much of Mesopotamia and some of Egypt. I like Anatolia a lot more. :) Eventually I might do an Atana/Athens mod, however it might be a while and unforseen things could happen in the future. If your really eager for an Athens mod now, I recommend you make one, and if so I'll put it up ob the midmod page. :)

Hey @Kendji, I love your mods. Your mods collection is currently the best for Total War Pharaoh Dynasties. I was wondering if you could make a mod for Athens as well?
