Description
Adds 132 backstories for childhood and adulthood, currently focusing on the regular humans of the Imperium. Includes special restricted backstories for Death Korps of Krieg, Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, and Custodes. Some backstories are made available to non-40k base game factions (such as pirate gangs) if the mod is enabled.

Compatible with GrimWorld and RimDark mods (including the Shadow's Heretic Faction submod).

Updated once again and it should - should! - work fine now. If it doesn't then I've missed something and please let me know.

Other players should note that a side effect of making this change is that existing saves will be adversely affected due to the defname change in the code - saves will be playable but existing backstories will be re-assigned at random and change pawn traits. I apologise, but there's not really a way around this for my coding capabilities and it's my own fault for not having set it up better in the first place.

Eww www...At first glance it did run well, but when I tried to extract the text to translate through all my tools, there are still some bugs here like:

Could not process def-injections for def 40k_GoreMage: System.Xml.XmlException: Name cannot begin with the '4' character, hexadecimal value 0x34.

Could you plz fix that again? Thanks for your hard work!

It's now fixed! You shouldn't get any more errors from the mod.

Those are traits provided by RimDark: Mankind's Finest - I thought I'd set it up so that they only get added if that mod is present and don't cause problems otherwise, but it turns out that's not the case. I'll get to work fixing that, it should be fixed in a few hours.

The mod has been updated with a good chunk of extra backstories, including a clutch for chaos aligned factions/pawns. Some of these are currently unused in the code, but are ready to be enabled once the Sabbat's Blight mod is updated to 1.6.
