Description
Lykrast's collection of iconic M9K weapons for Trouble in Terrorist Town, updated with loads of fixes and new models that are compatible with c_hands.

To disable or configure weapons, see the list of convars and their default values[pastebin.com].

You don't need the original addon installed to use this one.

Features and changes:
  • All viewmodels are now c_models, meaning they are compatible with your playermodels' custom first person hands and VManip for immersive animations.
  • Ironsights are now correctly aligned for players who don't use the lowered viewmodels option.
  • Added convars to individually modify or even disable weapons (see below)
  • Added tool tips at the bottom of the HUD to explain each weapon's unique mechanics.
  • First-person animation sounds now play correctly for clients.
  • The Honey Badger and the MR-CA1 now use pistol ammo to make the ammo spawn pool less SMG-biased.
  • Ares Shrike recoil is no longer exponential.
  • Added a subtle FOV zoom when aiming through the sights of weapons that have them.
  • Restored missing weapon thumbnails in the Inspect Body UI.
  • Changed the draw animation speeds to be less janky.
  • Corrected muzzle flash attachment points.
  • Fixed broken reload on the Double Barrel shotgun.
  • Fixed missing scope textures.
  • Fixed scope textures not covering the whole screen.
  • Fixed Lua errors when charging the Railgun.
  • Fixed missing textures on the Railgun.
  • Overcharging the Railgun so much that it explodes will now set the gun on fire.
  • The Railgun's beeps are now enabled by default (you can switch them off with the convar if you prefer; see below).
  • The Railgun has a new convar you can use to make it a 'Free Kill Gun' and remove karma penalties for killing someone with your Railgun or for killing someone who is wielding a Railgun themselves. It also changes the Railgun to be purple, in tribute the the classic missing textures gun. This is disabled by default - convars are listed below.

If you use VManip on your server, you must make sure you also use Chen's VManip Patch. If you don't have this patch and you use VManip, you might get animation bugs.

This addon is compatible with The Stig's TTT Tweaks and Fixes and [TTT] Weapon Stats Changer. Class names are the same as the original pack so stat changes carry over.

The Weapons
Honey Badger
Heavy weapon, pistol ammo. A rifle that deals less damage and fires slower but has a suppressor. Players killed by it do not scream on death.
ttt_ap_hbadger_enabled 1 - Enabled by default. Change to 0 to prevent this weapon from spawning.

MR-CA1
Heavy weapon, pistol ammo. A futuristic rifle with high damage, low recoil and an integrated scope. Aiming with the scope makes your rate of fire slower but greatly reduces bullet spread.
ttt_ap_mrca1_enabled 1 - Enabled by default. Change to 0 to prevent this weapon from spawning.

PP-19 Bizon
Heavy weapon, SMG ammo. Fast-firing SMG with a very big magazine but low damage and unwieldy recoil.

Kriss Vector
Heavy weapon, SMG ammo. Deals good damage at a high rate of fire but with low accuracy at first. Continuous shooting greatly reduces bullet spread but also slows down the rate of fire.
ttt_ap_vector_enabled 1 - Enabled by default. Change to 0 to prevent this weapon from spawning.

TEC-9
Heavy weapon, SMG ammo. High damage and rate of fire but wildly innacurate and runs out of ammo fast. Its bullets ricochet off surfaces up to twice, losing a bit of damage on each bounce.
ttt_ap_tec9_enabled 1 - Enabled by default. Change to 0 to prevent this weapon from spawning.

Winchester 1873
Heavy weapon, buckshot ammo. A deadly-accurate cowboy repeater that can kill in a single headshot from range but is very slow to reload. There's only one projectile per shell so good aim is everything.
ttt_sp_winchester_enabled 1 - Enabled by default. Change to 0 to prevent this weapon from spawning.

Striker-12
Heavy weapon, buckshot ammo. Weaker than the vanilla shotgun but fires much faster and has sights for aiming more accurately.

Double Barrel
Heavy weapon, buckshot ammo. A shotgun that can load only two shells at a time but can fire its barrels individually or both at once. Poor accuracy and range but utterly lethal up close. Perfect for getting those damn kids off your lawn.
ttt_sp_dbarrel_enabled 1 - Enabled by default. Change to 0 to prevent this weapon from spawning.

Ares Shrike
Heavy weapon, cannot be reloaded. A light machine gun that rivals the H.U.G.E.-249 with its superior accuracy but slower rate of fire.
ttt_hp_ares_shrike_enabled 1 - Enabled by default. Change to 0 to prevent this weapon from spawning.

Railgun
Heavy weapon, rifle ammo. An esoteric scoped weapon that can be charged to fire multiple bullets at once and deal massive damage in a single shot. Charging it for too long will cause it to explode. Count the beeps and don't go above four!
ttt_rp_railgun_enabled 1 - Enabled by default. Change to 0 to prevent this weapon from spawning.
ttt_rp_railgun_sound 1 - Makes the Railgun beep to indicate the charge of the current shot.
ttt_rap_railgun_karmapenalty - Disabling this renames the weapon to the Free Kill Gun and makes it so that killing a Railgun-using player or killing someone with your own railgun incurs no karma penalty.

Remington 1858
Sidearm, magnum ammo. A revolver from the Old West that poses a faster alternative to the Desert Eagle, at the cost of less damage and the inability to kill in one headshot.
ttt_pp_remington_enabled 1 - Enabled by default. Change to 0 to prevent this weapon from spawning.

Raging Bull
Sidearm, magnum ammo. A hunting revolver that suffers from slow rate of fire, high recoil and mediocre damage- but only when you're at full health. The less HP you have, the faster it fires and the harder it hits. Ideal if you get gored by a wild deer.
ttt_pp_rbull_enabled 1 - Enabled by default. Change to 0 to prevent this weapon from spawning.

Pocket Rifle
Sidearm, rifle ammo. A sniper handgun that boasts a scope, perfect accuracy and the ability to kill in a single headshot from any range. The caveat is that it only loads one bullet at a time and must be reloaded between every shot.
ttt_rp_pocket_enabled 1 - Enabled by default. Change to 0 to prevent this weapon from spawning.

Did you make sure you executed the command on the server and did you try loading a new map first? It works fine for me.

If you want to weaken the TEC-9, I added some other convars you can use to do that. List here [pastebin.com].

Hey the convars to disable the weapons don't work. We tried banning the TEC9 for a round cuz it had an insane RPM with a 1.4s TTK.

We did the command to disable spawning for it and it spawned anyway :P

New update:

- Increased viewmodel FoV on Raging Bull and Remington for better visibility and consistency
- Decreased volume of the MRCA1's firing sound
- Added a TON of new convars

My bad, man, I made this comment in a confusion not realizing that the sole reason I survived the explosion every other time was because of another addon.

In the original weapon collection, the Railgun fires a normal explosion. Which causes another addon, Rocketjumps, to reduce self-damage and allow blastjumping with it.

And because I play with self-damage off it does NOT hurt the player when using the Railgun explosion.

Since the Railgun explosion in this addon kills the player anyways, regardless of self-damage being on or off, it's safe to assume that the explosion doesn't register as actually coming from the player.

In short, is there a way to prevent the explosion from killing the player?

Not sure what you mean, this is how the Railgun always worked. You mean that you want it to fire when you fully charge it instead of it blowing up? I could add that as a convar.

Damn the Railgun nerf is abyssmal ass, I'd love to play with the rebalances but the fact that you CAN'T toggle the self-damage explosion really takes the fun out of using it. It's completely crippled and dead in a ditch at this rate.
