This mod is still a WIP.

This mod isn’t based off total historicity and has Vanilla, Historical, Fantasy, Mythological, A-historical content.

DO NOT PLAY WITH VIBRANT

"snd_save_events show_-err" in startup settings

Important!
Mod is made to be played on English version of the game with unit variation ON, and Vibrant color scheme OFF. Advice can be turned on if you want scripted faction intros for Macedon and Sparta.

This mod is an overhaul for Rome Remastered, featuring Kirsi's Bigger Map, new units, new character names, and nearly 259 new factions, 16 of them playable.

Easy/Easy or Medium/Medium

Not Just About Conquering the Map

This mod isn’t designed around the idea that you must conquer every last settlement to win.

In fact, 98% chance you will lose without making it to the end date.

Instead, it offers an experience closer to Europa Universalis IV or Crusader Kings III — a civilization builder, manager, and maintainer that uses the Total War battle system.

Rather than a linear "take every province = victory" approach, the focus is on:

  • Scripted Content & Events – Experience a wide array of dynamic, historical, alternate history, and mythological challenges.
  • Survival & Crisis Management – Endure revolts, hordes, civil unrest, and the rise of emergent, remnant, and re-emergent nations and movements.
  • Scripted Playthrough Recommendations – A event will fire for playable factions giving several goal recommendations and ideas on your playthrough and where you can end.
  • Administration & Building Systems – Develop and maintain your empire through deeper governance mechanics.

The goal is NOT total map domination.
Instead, it’s about navigating the ebb and flow of history, surviving crises, and maintaining your realm amidst a living, reactive world.

Hello Archivist77 with ROME (red), I went up to 127th and CARTHAGE to 130. If you tell me that we can go much higher, so much the better (but I would be surprised), because I do not see why I could not resume my games and I therefore thought about the richness of the content of your MOD compared to the possibilities of the aging engine (they had this adjustment to make with IMPERIUM SURRECTUM which will be released in FEBRUARY) But in fact, I know nothing about computers. But my hardware is brand new (2 months) and I have a tank at the graphics card level for the next TW.

To be honest I am focusing on the buggyness and Saving Errors of the Imperial Campaign that RTR:IR is also experiencing or whatever.
But mainly expanding the Imperial Campaign’s content and also trying to make TPY faster.

ger21748 Only Acrchivist77 will be able to answer you but I tried two games during which I appreciated the richness of the mod (large map, enormous number of factions and possibilities,) BUT I also encountered the same problem as with IMPERIUM SURRECTUM namely the corruption of the recorded games I could not exceed 130 turns

I added SPQR playability but it is slightly buggy ngl.

Also I am resuming progress on the Eurasia map + am laying the groundwork for new factions.

I will likely be adding 4-5 more Roman families due to the sheer province density and size of the Eurasia map.

I am also thinking about new Roman factions like Boni Custodes, etc.

But a certain priority has to be set on unit making + importing and other cultural factions both existing on the Eurasia map and new ones outside the boundaries or expanded areas.
