You awaken in a decaying dungeon cell, your memory fractured and your hands stained with ash and blood. The name "Edward" echoes faintly in your mind - but you do not know if it is yours...

Whispers crawl through the halls of Castle Grunburgh. Symbols scrawled in blood. Tomes bound in flesh. Something was summoned here... and it's still watching.

The deeper you descend, the more you remember - but some truths are best left buried. You were part of this. You opened the gate. And now, something ancient wants you back.

Over the past few months, we've been hard at work polishing, testing, and finishing this project. We're incredibly proud of what we've created-and even prouder of how much we've learned along the way. You might notice that the quality of the mod improves as you progress, a reflection of our growth and experience throughout development. We've even gone back to revise earlier levels to ensure a smooth, cohesive experience from start to finish. With around 3–4 hours of immersive gameplay, Castle Grunburgh is designed to keep you engaged from the very first moment to the chilling finale.


This story is a passion project, and its release gives us the motivation to start working on something even better: a second mod that will focus more on quality and depth rather than sheer scale. We'll share more details about that in the future, along with a Castle Grunburgh tutorial.
