Description
Features

Basically a small I guess test faction?

As I always felt these guys fit the feel of map sweepers, being a horde of gear automata and all-
So far there's four units at the moment

- Soldier
- Wyvern
- Engineer
- Knight


Plans/ideas

- Use the alternate version of the gear soldier that can use other NPC weapons as a base for possible custom units
- Re-balance the mod if suggested
- Add photos

I think you could add the golem as a flashpoint boss. Flashpoints don't spawn in bosses unless there's airspace (which would also probably have sufficient space for the golem).

about adding more units, i don't know how just how difficult it might be to implement in practice, but looking briefly at the base map sweepers code, it seems that there's examples of ways to manipulate the size of an enemy (eg. polyp) and apply a different texture (cyberguard).
if you decide to add more variants, maybe you could use these to say, add a small catapult, a big knight, or a stronger soldier with a different texture? granted, these are VJ npcs, so i guess the coding might be different then. the only VJ addon i can think of right now that (probably) uses different sized enemies is more chicken npcs, though it's a little old. good work on the descriptions by the way!

Plus new descriptions for enemies that fit more with the style of Map Sweeper's writing.

But yeah, like I think I'm iffy on adding the tank and golem due to how BIG they are and could actually get stuck depending on the map

Really cool and fun faction but definitely could use some unit variety. Try your best to make it work, I'm sure it'll come out well.

finally works now! fun faction, their knocking of turrets away is cool. can't help feeling a "boss" enemy would be a nice addition, perhaps a (nerfed) version of the ancient gear catapult? obviously the golem is cooler, but too big and slow.

Fixed the faction conflict, as turns out the lua is named "npcs" for the faction. So it conflicted with mods that haven't changed the Lua name from "npcs"/base file.
