Description
Azka Modular Parking Lots

Please download all required dependencies - they are needed for this pack to work properly! An explanation of what they are for is later in this description.

Remember to turn on the mod in the Content Manager!

Also please watch the quick video tutorial above on how to use this asset pack and make parking lots correctly.



This pack includes:

1. A mod that:
• makes EV only parkings actually function as EV only parkings,
• changes PlacementMode of parking assets to Roadside to fix the grid snapping (as they have PlacementMode set to PathsideOrGround so they don't have pavement in front, because in some circumstances it would leak to the other side of the road).

2. A set of 5 functional modular parking lots (they are all located in the road tool, in the maintenance tab):
• AMPL P N - Azka Modular Parking Lot Pavement Normal
• AMPL P D - Azka Modular Parking Lot Pavement Disabled
• AMPL P C - Azka Modular Parking Lot Pavement Custom
• AMPL P E - Azka Modular Parking Lot Pavement Electric
• AMPL G - Azka Modular Parking Lot Gravel



Required dependencies:

Optional dependencies:
  • TM:PE 11.9.1.0 STABLE (Traffic Manager: President Edition) with realistic parking turned on is recommended for cims to actually use the parking lots (can also be used to make cars driving out of parking lot give way and to stop pedestrians from crossing the road on intersections with parking access roads).
  • Network Skins is recommended so you can remove excess streetlamps created by close proximity of nodes.
  • Find It 2 is recommended so you can add more detail using included Azka Road Markings.

@Finwickle As far as I know vanilla prop 'Parking Space Electric' already functions as an EV only parking.

Does that only apply to the EV parking lot included in this mod, or also to the 'Parking Space Electric' Vanilla prop? It would be awesome if it included that Vanilla prop as well, as many Vanilla and workshop assets use that one.

1) Subscribe to the Azka Road Markings White Decals Pack and let it download.
2) Head to the workshop assets location (usually "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\255710") and copy the "3448781215" folder.
3) Open local assets folder ("C:\Users\ (YourWindowsUserName) \AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Assets") and copy the folder there.
4) Delete everything except for assets starting with arm_w_p[...].
That way you should end with 4 assets in this location: "C:\Users\ (YourWindowsUserName) \AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Assets\3448781215". It is important to not take out the assets out of the "3448781215" folder as the mod uses those numbers to find the electric parking asset.
5) You can now unsubcribe to the Azka Road Markings White Decals Pack.

@mj_designs1 Azka Road Markings White Decals Pack contains the parking markings for parking lots assets and they won't work without them as they provide decals as well as generate functional parking spaces. The only one that will work is the gravel parking lot asset :p.

The pack has quite a lot of decals but it will take less than 7 MB of your hard drive space and it will use even less ram in game if you use Loading Screen Mod.

But if you really don't want to have all of those decals you can just subscribe to the decals pack, copy only the parking markings assets to your local assets folder and then unsubscribe. This way you will only have parking markings decals without all of the other decals. Steps how to do it are in the comment above as steam has a character limit for comments.

Is it necessary to subscribe to the Azka Road Markings White Decals Pack because I already have many road markings, which make my assets very huge, especially since this pack is 50 decals?

@chr.is The old version was just a pack of assets which were monuments. The new version is a mod with assets that are parks. So basically the differences are:
- The pack now also has a mod which needs to be turned on in Content Manger.
- The EV parkings now actually function as EV parkings (thanks to the mod).
- Now there's no need to use Game Anarchy mod as a dependency.
- No pavement/gravel in front of the assets which would leak on the other side of thin roads.
- Other minor changes such as updated thumbnails.

I didn't want to update the old version as idk how that would work with assets already placed in people's saves.
