How does Tools Work?
Tools are equippable gear tied to Crests. Each Crest has colored slots. Red Tools are consumables. Blue and Yellow behave more like passives or utility. You equip and swap them in the Crest tab of the menu. Refilling and crafting cost Shell Shards, and refills happen at Benches. Some crests can be upgraded to hold more Tools later on. This is why early loadouts feel tight, then open up as you progress. It makes planning matter. It also explains why Shell Shard economy is a big deal.

  • Infinite Tool Usage — removes use counts from red Tools. This bypasses the refill loop and changes balance a lot. Consider for practice only. It cuts the Shell Shard sink that normally gates spamming.
  • Infinite Shell Shards — unlimited crafting and refills at Benches. You’ll trivialize the economy and can test builds freely. Handy if you just want to lab routes or boss patterns.
