Deku

Description
Deku, also known as Izuku Midoriya and the last successor of One for All, makes his way to Rivals of Aether! With a moveset that takes from the anime and manga, and inspirations from Smash Ultimate's Joker, Deku is hopefully a fun character you can add to your extended workshop cast!

This is my first workshop character, so any support and feedback on balance changes, bugs, art mistakes/suggestions, or any constructive criticism in general would be greatly appreciated!

Moveset

Neutral Special - Air Force
Hold down the NSpecial button to fire off blasts of air from Deku's gloves. Like Joker's gun from Smash Ultimate, the player is able to dodge forward or back during NSpecial by holding either left or right after firing, and the player is able to jump while holding the move, or press down while airborne in order to perform and aerial version of the move.

Side Special - Black Whip
Deku uses a long ranging black whip to catch his opponents before delivering a powerful smash. Normally the move sends Deku towards his caught opponent, but if performing the move while grounded and holding the direction opposite from where you are facing, Deku can pull his opponents toward himself and use a throw instead.

Up Special - Fa Jin
Deku releases Fa Jin to propel himself upwards and land a devastating kick with his leg. The hit at the end of the move is a spike, so players can either predict where they will hit their opponents, or use the hitbox at the beginning of the move to help send their opponents directly into it.

Down Special 1 - One For All
Normally, down special is a meter charge towards One for All. Meter is accumulated throughout the match, during hits, and directly through charging DSpecial, similar to Cloud and Joker from Smash Ultimate. When the meter is full, Deku activates One for All immediately, giving a buff to his movement and attack strength.

Down Special 2 - Gear Shift
When One for All is active, DSpecial becomes Gear Shift, a powerful counter in both damage and KO ability. If Gear Shift is activated, the One for All State is deactivated following the move, regardless of time left on your meter. If you attempt to use the move but fail to activate the counter, you will lose a little bit of your meter, limiting the amount of times you can attempt to activate the move per meter charge. Rather than spamming, its encouraged to activate when you truly know you'll get your opponent.

Nice character! A cool addition would be to add a voice. Just sayin :)

He's WAY too small.

he is so fucking tiny. he desperately needs range for closing kills, especially on jab and on smash attacks. jab would probably need reanimating but for the smash attacks adding wind effects to make them bigger would probably work
also that dspecial windup. oof, not landing that in a serious match

I love this character! dash attack, forward air, side and down specials, the sprites, its all so nice! but i really think the smash attacks could use some work, specially side smash and up smash, make em come out faster and feel smoother! otherwise this is AMAZING!

Good character, adding a peach float mechanic would be dope to represent another another one of his quirks
