CIRCLE OF LIFE - LOCATIONS IMMERSIVE ENCOUNTERS

Omschrijving
It's something in the style of Stardew Valley.
It brings life into settlements with encounters cycle.

Settlements now have their own encounters cycles. There's a 2-day break between events. The events can be beautiful, strange, or dangerous. When a cycle ends, it repeats again.

But keep in mind that timers are paused when you're not in the event zone, so locally-depending on how you play - the events and breaks between them may feel a bit different.

There are currently 6 events that occur in Joppa:

- CROAK Invasion!
These creatures roam the region, and sometimes they decide to drop by for a visit.
- TRASH DAY in Joppa!
Today is the day when all Joppans throw out their old junk, so they can move toward the future unburdened by the past. (help the townsfolk by utilising the trash using the Scavenger skill)
- BLOOM DAY!
Sometimes, gusts of wind from the flower fields to the north carry seeds into the town-ushering in a spontaneous day of blooming.
- SNAPJAW Scout Patrol!
The weakest of the tribe are sent off on a one-way mission. Those few who return are promoted to Chief`s First Paw-Licker Assistant.
- FLOOD!
Heavy rainfall turns the salt marsh into a real swamp and raises the water level. It’s best to stick to higher ground during this time!
- GIANT DRAGONFLIES swarm!
They look peaceful... and if we leave them alone, probably nothing bad will happen.

And a little bonus on top.:

- CAMPFIRE now have a life cycle too!
After roughly the length of a night, they burn out and turn to ash. (fireflies now appear around active campfires, they fly around dark areas to enlight it.)

- NEW EVENT (scorpiocks)
Cracks now sometimes appear in the ground in the Salt Desert, and a few Scorpiocs emerge from them.

- NEW EVENT (jungle wildfire)
Sometimes, massive wildfires break out in the jungle and deep jungle locations. The temperature rises so high that the chance of catching fire becomes extremely high. However, there's a perk - those who survive the wildfire event gain XP bonus.
- lowered scorpiock appearance chance a bit.
- some instances fixes.

Yeah, go ahead with the feedback, no problem at all... I'm also playing with this mod, and maybe there really are just a bit too many Scorpiocks. So yeah, tell me what’s going on over there.

Do you want feedback/constructive criticism? I was going to post a Discussion thread about Scorpiock crack frequency/permanence after playing around in the salt for a bit, but I don't want to presume.

"It wasn’t that hard, take a look in the mod files.

I like to implement conceptually new ideas, and such a mod has never been in the workshop before. I’m gradually expanding the number of encounters, already have a couple of cool ideas. If you have any good ones, feel free to share, I'll mention you in the description if any of them catch on!

This sort of timed event could be a whole Mod Jam. Was it difficult to get the scheduling to work?

The current build i've been running is focused around burgeoning and carapace off the bat. But the stinger just counters my build so hard 1 skorp is so dangerous that i just disabled the mod for now.

Not yet :) There's a pretty low chance of a burrow appearing - you just got unlucky.
