Unique Great People: Tycoons (America)

Description
Adds the Tycoon as a unique civilian units to America, bringing 10 new Great People from the Gilded Age and beyond. Among the non-unique great people in previous games, Americans were strongly represented so it felt obvious to me that America should get unique great people in Civ VII to bring some of these personalities back. I chose Tycoons because they fit the industrial powerhouse theme the civ is built around.

Features
  • 10 new "Tycoon" Great People for America in the Modern age.
  • Tycoons require an Industrial Park to be built or purchased.
  • New Civic bonus on the Captains of Industry mastery reducing the purchase cost of Tycoons by 25%.
  • Settlement cap increase moved from Captains of Industry mastery to Yankee Ingenuity mastery to balance it out.
  • The Prospector becomes available to all civs now, available in a new Modernization Mastery and twice as expensive.
  • America retains the discount for buying Prospectors as an unlockable in its unique Civics tree.

List of Tycoons
  • Caroline Astor: Activate on an Industrial Park to immediately trigger a Celebration.
  • Andrew Carnegie: Create a Factory in a City. This Factory receives a +1 Production adjacency from Production buildings.
  • Henry Ford: Activate on a Factory in a City. Grants +1 Production per slotted Factory Resource to this City.
  • Hetty Green: Activate on a Stock Exchange in a City. Gold in treasury is increased by 10%.
  • Estée Lauder: Create a Department Store in a City. This Department Store increases the number of Resources that may be assigned to this Settlement by 2 instead of by 1.
  • J. P. Morgan: Activate on an Industrial Park. Receive 300 Gold for every Industrial Park in your empire.
  • Mary Ellen Pleasant: Activate on the Palace to grant +1 Social Policy slot.
  • John D. Rockefeller: Activate on an Industrial Park. Receive 500 Gold for every city with an Oil Well.
  • Cornelius Vanderbilt: Activate on a Rail Station in a City. This Rail Station receives +5 Gold per Settlement connected to this City.
  • Victoria Woodhull: Activate on a District with at least 1 Specialist Limit, this tile gets +1 Specialist. 2 charges.

Known Issues
  • The Tycoon units use a fallback model making them look like British aristocrats and have no portrait. This will be fixed once we get asset modding tools.
  • The Tycoons do not have their individual events yet. I will add these over time but making events is a lot of work and these only have a small chance of triggering anyway. I love the idea behind them though and want to invest a bit more time into making them excellent.

I was thinking the general availability of the prospector made other modern war-ish civs more attractive. Emolument has been dispatched.

This mod shouldn't have any incompatibility with anything that doesn't touch the Prospector.

I shall be giving Tecumseh a couple (at least) of runs next week, to get all his quests from the 1123 patch. I'll use the Scotland* mod in one of those. Am I right in thinking that as they are different ages their is zero possibility of any incompatibility?

Unfortunately all GP just have 10 individuals. She was #11 on my list and in the end, I already had one bonus for cosmetics, just like Jay Gould was cut because I already had Vanderbilt for railroads.

Mary Ellen Pleasant was the first Black millionaire, btw. She just had a lot of her wealth in the name of her White business partner to avoid hostile attention. Her current bonus is also just a placeholder and I got something more elaborate planned to reflect her contributions to the Underground Railroad.

Might I suggest adding Madame C.J. Walker. First self-made woman (black or otherwise) in the country to become a millionaire. She's a legend among black Americans.
