Description
Mod is a work in progress and currently only adds Sentient Spores and Rot coloration to every base game and Downpour region. It was separated from the main mod as to not bother people who strongly dislike the visual Rot-related inclusions.
Extension of Screen Lady's Diverse Spawns, gives the illusion of non-spreading Sentient Rot in base game and Downpour regions.
I repeat, this does not add actual Rot Infection mechanics outside of Watcher's campaign! The only way this can infect anything is if you open portals in an affected area first!

This mod is expected to probably update less often/slower than the main one since it requires many more room edits and tweaks. I'll release updates when I feel like I made a satisfying amount of changes to afflicted areas with this.


To Do:
- Slightly change area tints inhabited by Rot to have a faintly purple hue.
- Add harmless Rot goop to affected areas.
- Add sentient spores
- Tweak colors to be more accurate.
- Carefully add Rattlers to RM and UW regions for Rivulet.

Known Issues:
- Sometimes mobile Rot cysts will still be blue/brown.
No idea why this happens really but it's out of my control anyways. In some cases it seems to be hardcoded into a character, such as Spearmaster always having blue mobile Rot cysts.

Mod Incompatabilities:
- Mods that edit rooms accompanied by Rot will probably override or be overwritten depending on mod load order.

Yeah its all good. Not like I can code at all- I just love me some rot.

If I knew how to code custom creatures I'd love to do so. But unfortunately that's vastly out of my scope.
But as a Rot fan I got this project at least, I really need to update it soon. Still making rooms have the purple hue and goopiness.

It would be so cool if this added more rotten critters. Its been bugging me that only lizards and those cursed raindeer things can get infected-

Probably not, as due to room changes this mod still contains stuff like extra music tracks being added or unrelated Rot things like mud in rooms. It was originally part of that mod, so it has inherited changes from it. If I get rid of those changes then it kind of messes with the main mod if both are enabled as both room changes start to conflict with each other.

The only reason this has become a separate mod at all is to satisfy the people who didn't like the Watcher Rot editions being so strong in the original mod.

This mod is comprised of world changes, since it split off of a mod that also does said changes. There's nothing to spawn, the changes will be noticeable in rooms with it.

Furthermore this mod isn't finished yet and will have more cosmetic changes once I have enough of them ready.
