Description
Got a problem with "guests" refusing to leave? They're refusing to do any work, they're eating all your food and their faction will get very unhappy if you launch your gravship while they are on it.

Subtle hints are not working so install this mod, select a pawn, right click on the visitors and tell them bluntly to go away.


What this mod adds

Emancipate: Frees someone that was imprisoned or enslaved by another faction and has them walk off the map. Very helpful when you land your gravship in a village and all the liberated slaves/prisoners end up hanging out in your dining room. Only works on pawns from a non-hostile factions, and you will get a (configurable) faction relations boost if they make it off the map safely.

Abandon: Pick up a downed pawn, carry them out of your base, and leave them to their fate.




FAQ

Problem: I want to get rid of a trade caravan.
Solution: Select one of your pawns, right click the trader, select "Dismiss trader" (this is a base game feature)

Problem: I want to get rid of one of my non-downed prisoners.
Solution: Set them to "release" on the prison tab and you warden will free them. (this is a base game feature)

Problem: Prisoners/Slaves originally from a faction I am hostile with revert to hostile when I free them.
Solution: Murder. (this is a base game feature)

Problem: I want to get rid of a downed colonist but I can't banish them while down and if I abandon them then they crawl back or are rescued.
Solution: Murder. Or enable the "Banish Downed colonists" option with is just murder with extra steps.

@RimWorldist make sure you test the new version before o7ing; like I mentioned in my last comment the problem may actually be worse when dealing former slaves from VE Base generation.

I did a bit of testing with the current unstable Rimworld build, and for me if I had freed slaves on my ship the "guests leave when you launch" feature instead just hung forever while the freed slaves just wandered around, not leaving. If that ends up going live (and it's not due to something in my 300 other mods) then this mod will be even more needed.

Unfriendly Joe: There is also the emancipation meme in VFE Memes and Structures if you have ideology. Focused around freeing slaves, uncertain how it works in that situation however.

Oh god, the emancipate feature is the part of this mod that I want/need most. Mainly not even for the gravship element, but just so I can free slaves from bases I attack in general since the 1.5 mod for this wasn't updated. Thanks!

This may not be needed anymore(for gravships). In unstable, there are several options on gravship launch now, including 'remove visitors' that pauses the launch while any visitors leave the gravship.
Dealing with 99.99% of unwanted guests, assuming you don't care about the faction rep loss...

- Make your dining room only accessible from the outside of the gravship with a normal steel door (not airtight) then fly to an asteroid. (Odyssey DLC required.)
