British Legionaries for East and West Rome

Hello! Another mid mod from yours truly. I'll be frank, I wanted this to act as a mod that incentivised you to keep (or conquer) Britannia as the Western (or Eastern) Roman Empire. Unfortunately, the 'Auxilia' system that for example works for say the Socii in Rome II is non-functional leftover code in Attila.

As it stands, this is a kind of whatever style heavy infantry with spanghenhelm (not my first choice of helmet) and lorica segmentata. They use Gladiuses, Oval Shields and Javellins, to indicate the ramshackled if still very dangerous form of infantry they are. As a minor detail, they're made up of the same model mix as Gallic Imperial Guard, and thus you can see the less-italian of their ranks alongside some pure-blooded Romans.

They can be recruited T2, unfortunately -- anywhere. Now as a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ amateur modder, I plead this. As it stands? Don't recruit them unless you own Britannia as a province. That's all I ask.

Requires my crap model library mod to function, otherwise you'll have invisible men fighting for you.

Update (29/08/2024): This unit has received a slight armour nerf, and uses their own armour type of 'Lorica_Segmentata_Heirloom.' No longer conflicts with cataphract buffs/nerfs. They also now have their javellins out as a primary weapon in animation purpose, but this doesn't really make any difference other than for appearances. Once expended, they'll just have spathas out.
